Tom Ford Traceless Touch Foundation Satin-Matte Cushion Compact Review

THIS, was featured and mentioned on my #AMWIGstories so many times and even got into my January Favorites!  You'll understand why after reading the full review.

This multi-tasking skin-nourishing compact formula is resistant to water, sweat and humidity.  It controls oil and shine while giving skin a flood of moisture.  Long-wearing and color-true with buildable coverage from medium to full.

This product comes with a brown suede pouch which I find no use in terms of putting back the compact on (that's just me), I prefer to use the pouch to house my jewelries when I go for staycation or travel.

Now let's talk about the compact itself.  A very simple plastic compact with gold detailing on the sides, I find this to be very luxurious to hold and look at.  It does look  heavy on photo but in reality, the compact is as light as regular compact foundation.

To be honest, I am a "Queen of Foundation Matching" in terms of shopping.  I can easily spot the right shade for myself or even for others even when I see online swatches.  It is different for Tom Ford.  With the unique names and shades, it is best to go to the counter to try on the shades just to make sure!  

And true enough, I've found myself a match in the shade name FAWN.  It looks like it doesn't match on me when I looked on pan as the total of 8 shades that I saw on counter looks a bit close to each other.  But this is the thing you have to consider, they all look the same when you swatch them side by side but once you layer, that's were the magic begins!

So I have said it before and I'll say it again, for this particular foundation, you need to go to counters have the SA swatch on your skin just to be sure!

Swatch: Fawn

You see my point?  Fawn looked light on me and even seems like it was on a wrong "tone". 

But this is the perfect one for me!

Fawn has actually warm/yellow undertone making this the best match for those who have the same color as I do. 

I love using the sponge and gently pat on the product starting from the center of my face.  This is one of the most luxurious feeling because Tom Ford Traceless Touch Foundation has a scent like that of an organic skincare product.  It has cooling sensation once applied and it is actually addicting to keep on patting and dabbing!

This is indeed a FULL COVERAGE foundation.  I didn't believe it at first but I was shocked how I can literally skip concealer application whenever I use this!  With just a small amount, I can easily cover dark undereye circles and red spots!  Best of all?  It looks extremely natural and made my skin healthy and glowing!

Now if you need NO full coverage, you may opt to just apply a few amount on areas that needed coverage and just leave the rest of your face bare.  I also like to skip powder foundation application on days I want that natural glow!

Here are more add ons when you use this Cushion Foundation, the product is indeed Satin-matte, giving your skin that natural glow.  The texture is smooth and easy to blend so I can work with my whole face for 5 minutes max!  Then using this as a concealer is NO ISSUE as it does not sit in my lines and wrinkles!  Now, if you have super oily skin, of course, I highly recommend you to set your Tom Ford Traceless Touch Foundation because you will oil-up midday!

But overall, I love how naturally healthy my skin look, TRACELESS is the perfect word to describe this foundation.
