Generation Happy Skin Active Love Your Lips Intense Color Butter Balm Review

After the very successful launch of #KathxHappySkin , Kathryn Bernardo did it again this time with Generation Happy Skin Active! Do those who aren't into working out or do not have a gym membership, sweat not!  This isn't exactly made just for those who workout, but this works for EVERYONE and after trying out the Love Your Lips Intense Color Butter Balm, I am definitely using this OUTSIDE the gym!

Checking out their website, I can see that there are a total of 4 shades - Bliss, Free, Powerful and Fierce.  I wish they would come up with more shades because I am in love with the texture.

I got to test 2 shades out of the 4 - Powerful and Fierce.

Lips as soft as butter but a formula as light as a feather. The LOVE YOUR LIPS Intense Color Butter Balm SPF 15 actively protects and softens dry lips, thanks to the smooth, buttery moist formula. Intensely pigmented, this vegan, paraben-free lip butter provides a lasting power of two hours with a natural mint extract that cools and refreshes lips.

Housed in a bright aqua blue slim tube packaging, this reminds me so much of the texture and scent of my favorite Burt's Bees tinted lip balm.  The only difference is, the Generation Happy Skin Active are more pigmented - I compare their pigmentation to a liquid lipstick!

 Swatch: Powerful and Fierce

AMW wears Powerful

Powerful is a gorgeous cool tone nude shade with a hint of brown.  This is a super gorgeous color that works on every occasion!  I can wear this with nothing on the rest of my face (say, just when I workout) or pair this with a strong eye makeup!

AMW wears Fierce

I am quite surprised there is a bright red lip color under this collection.  But I am not discriminating as I know women who are very comfortable in wearing bright colored lipstick during workout!  This is a nice warm tone red shade that warms up my face.  It brightens up my complexion and works for all skin tones.

Because of the presence of Vitamin E and Argan Oil in this lip product, I appreciate how buttery indeed the product feels on my lips on every single application.  Even without the lipbalm underneath, my lips look and feel hydrated.  It is an added bonus that the Love Your Lips Intense Color Butter Balm has this minty feel making it uber comfortable for me to wear as it doubles up as my lip balm too!

As for longevity, I can't say for the other shades but Fierce stays way longer on me as compared to Powerful, it must be the high pigmentation of color that tends to stick longer on my lips.  As for Powerful it lasted my whole workout session with a bit of fading at the center of my lips considering I talk a lot and wipe my whole face a lot!  And if you follow me on AMW IG Stories, you'll know that I workout in a non-airconditioned gym and my workout is pretty intense!

Overall, I am very much impressed with this lipstick line and I find myself reaching out for this even if I don't workout!
