Chicken Teriyaki Recipe

I purchased a lot of Boneless Chicken Thigh because my son loves to eat chicken (Fried to be exact!).  But since I want to have variety of recipes making sure he eats not only fried food, I've decided to create a chicken dish both adults and kids would enjoy!

Chicken Teriyaki!

Ingredients:
  • Soy Sauce
  • Water
  • Brown Sugar
  • Chopped Garlic
  • Sesame Oil
  • Honey
  • Rice Vinegar/Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Ginger
  • Cornstarch
  • Boneless chicken thigh or breast chopped in cubes
  • Oil for cooking
  • Spring onion (optional)
  • sesame seeds (optional)

Feel free to watch my video for the complete recipe.  If you want to read instructions here's a quick one:

1. Chop chicken in cubes.  Set aside.
2. Prepare Teriyaki Sauce ---
  • Pour a cup of soy sauce
  • Add 1/2 cup water
  • Add Brown Sugar (around 2tbsp)
  • Crushed Garlic (depending on your liking)
  • 1-2 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • Ginger
  • Apple Cider Vinegar or Rice Vingar around 1 tbsp
  • Add 2tbsp cornstarch
3. Mix all ingredients ad set aside.
4. Cook chicken in oil, once water reduced and chicken starts to brown, add the Teriyaki Sauce and let it cook until it sticks to the chicken!

5. Garnish with Spring Onions and/or sesame seeds.

Let me know if you like Chicken Teriyaki and if you've tried making one for your family!
