NARS Look

 

Nars Philippines recently launched 3 collections and all are exciting!  I got to dip my fingers on each collection with Nars Afterglow Lip Shine in Dark Deeds (Erratum: It should be Dark Deeds on Video instead of Deep Realm).  

I was able to try 3 Air Matte Moussse from Air Matte Blush Collection and an O Eyeshadow Palette under the Ox Collection.  For some reason, all these colletction looks so inviting to create 1 dainty look and I actually did!  

Before the look, let me show you a closer look on why Nars can always give me a flutter in the stomach because it brought me back to so many good ‘ol Bridal Wedding makeup days!  These Air Matte Blushers are so pretty to use I can imagine the term “BLUSHING BRIDES” for all 3 shades below.

AMW wears Orgasm

This shade looks exactly as the famous Nars Orgasm Blush Powder but the pigment is sheerer.  This would look perfect on users who have fair skin and can work as a “base highlight shade” for users who have medium to darker complexion.

I am not complaining, this blush is perfect on days I am too lazy to wear any makeup and I just want to look decent and human while wearing face mask so this would work in highlighting my cheeks are giving out a healthier vibes.

For reference, I applied 3 layers for color to show up on me.

AMW wears Freedom

Freedom is an “it” shade for Filipinas I can guess. Over my IG post, a lot voted for this shade and true enough, you can NEVER go wrong with this gorgeous medium pink coral shade!  This works for all skin tone and I love how it. Mimics a true blushing person!

AMW wears Scandalous

Indeed a scandalous color on pot (for a blush that is) and guess what?  It looks so gorgeous once applied you won’t even call this Scandalous - well, err....but...DEADLY?  Well it does sound the same but this is a gorgeous deep plum shade on pot which transformed into medium plum shade that looks so gorgeous!  I am in LOVE with this shade and the staying power as well!  I tested this the whole day and it stayed!  Same as Freedom!

Nars Orgasm Eyeshadow Palette

A limited edition quad that includes mostly shimmer shades!  3 shimmer shades and 1 matte to be exact.  The old me would not like this palette but after transforming into a K-Beauty gal (all thanks to watching K-drams and my love for K-Idols and actresses) I am finally smiling ear-to-ear owning this palette because I realized I do not own a lot of cool tone shimmer eyeshadows!

The kit includes the shades: Golden shimmer, Light pink champagne, Matte coral and Shimmering light cocoa

And this is how I translated the palette into this look using a Pink ProCast Liquid Liner from K-Palette to maintain the softness of look.

Lastly, a pop of color on my lips to give a contrasting look to my very feminine makeup is the Nars Afterglow Lip Shine in shade Dark Deeds.

Since I have full lips, I don’t want to put my lips on focal point so I applied this in 1 layer blurring out the outer edges and the effect was gorgeous!  Look just how pigmented yet glossy this product is!  (Note: Non-sticky!)
