Askmewhats Version: "Daily Cleopatra" Look
Cleopatra eyes are hard to pull off for daily look. Everyone knows Cleopatra look means "bold and blackest of black eyeliner" and of course, the "Winged look" will always be there. I really wanted somewhat "goddess" looking eyes, but of course, I can't pull a strong Cleopatra look as I may have to wear a black jacket and be brought to the Mental ward. (bwahahahaha)
Back to the topic, "not the mental ward, okay". That's why I've created the "Daily Cleopatra" look because I toned down everything and make it wearable.
Note though, this doesn't come off really nice on pictures as I've used a lot of shimmery eyeshadow and with camera flash, it washes a lot of the color. But I hope you guys got the drift :)

And here's my full face look, with a bright red lippie :P Ooohhhhh Sexiness ----- NOT!
Everything is toned down but I've used the basics from the Cleopatra's Make-up collection (as if there's any available) hahaha I've used browns, golds, black eyeliner and of course, matte red lipstick :) Ms. Cleopatra would want me to go for nudes, but since I've got light eye make up, I opted for an intense lips :)

Tip for the Day: Creating your Own Lipstick Shades
This is a continuation for my previous post as seen here....
The title looks interesting right? I would say YEAH!!!! I know some of you may know this tip already, to some who doesn't (like me), this would be very helpful as I am honestly very lazy to choose on lipstick shades!!!! This tip came in handy (again thanks to Ms. Cherry Pacheco Uy).
I was creating this smokey eyes look and I needed a nude lipstick, and of course, I can't find a nude lipstick coz I never own one!!! I always have this feeling that nude lipstick doesn't work for me with my dry lips and everything...
Here's what you need ---
Steps ---
1. Scrape off a small part of your lipstick, concealer and the clear gloss (like the photo below)
2. Mix them all together with a lip brush

Here's what you need ---
- Lip gloss (clear)
- Stick/Liquid Concealer (any color) --- much better if you have those concealer that you bought that are wasted coz they just don't work for you.
- Any lipstick color (choose between reds, browns, pinks, orange etc...)
- Lip brush
Steps ---
1. Scrape off a small part of your lipstick, concealer and the clear gloss (like the photo below)
2. Mix them all together with a lip brush

3. The one on top is the original lipstick color, quite reddish with an organge-y tone. Check out the one below, that's my own creation (hahaha). You want it more nude? Lighter? Scroll down...

4. With the lipstick mixture you created, add more concealer and see the third color I've created.

5. I don't want to stop creating, so I added more concealer and here's the 4th color.

I know I know!!! I have to STOP! hahaha But see how one lipstick color can give you like 3 or more lipstick shade? Try it, have fun playing around and find your own lippie color that works for you!!!!

Reader's Corner: My Hair Length
My dear reader Samantha from Singapore sent me an email asking me how long my hair is and what the style is. I think it is quite hard for me to explain my hair length as it's all layered and it goes all over places! hahaha Really, you find different lengths and layers on my hair. So I just took a picture of my back just for you to see the length :) Thanks for being part of my blog dear.
By the way, it's summer, it's hot, and I'm super itching for a haircut, really!!! I've been tempted many times, I've always shorted a short do during my highschool and college years. Aaaaacccckkkk, I am so tempted to cut my hair but it took me such a long time to reach this length....haaaayyyyyy
