I am back! But my mind and body isn't

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for wishing me a great trip and it indeed came true! I just got back around 12am Philippine Time and got out of the airport 2am and got home around 3am. And I'm back at the office! Yup NERD! lol That meant one thing, I lack sleep, I walked too much, I am so tired!!!

But I am so excited to be back, a lot of blogs to read...so excited to hear from you all!

I will have a couple of posts coming but bear with me...the HK adventure post will probably take a bit of time as I have to upload and resize the photos..and that ain't easy LOL

Oh yeah, HK was fun!!!! (as expected) but the weather was too darn hot! Though I should get used to hot season it is just so HOT and sunny and for someone who doesn't perspire much, I perspired like a PIG! And shopping was fun!!! I didn't buy a lot, but yeah, I'm still a smart shopper! LOL Will let you guys take a peek on how it went soon!

To my Philippine readers who want to know how the new airport terminal is...Terminal 3...it is clean, cold, but it sucks because the "tube" won't work and we have to wait inside the plane for 15minutes and we have to go out of the plane via stairs! :( and the custom people are SUPER OC!!!! They opened everyone's luggage and checked on the items one by one and of course, to tax the people (we didn't thank goodness) ....I guess it's because the flight was from HK, but still!!!! It was like 1 something am and I am super sleepy!!! Uggghhh (sorry, tired, sleepy..complaining mode) lol

I'll be back with posts ....soon.....

*HUGS HUGS HUGS* to all!!!! I missed everyone!!!!

My Urban Decay Surgery

Before I bought my UDPP, I've read a lot of blog posts about cutting it to get more out of the product. Eventhough I've read so much about the bad packaging of UDPP, I still gave in and ordered 2 via ebay, you know why? Before TFSI (Too Faced Shadow Insurance), that was the best eye primer at that time. I researched more and finally bought my own UDPP via ebay.

I have been using UDPP for months now and I am ready to do the UDPP surgery on my post "Eureka Moment" a couple of weeks ago, I bought this bigger plastic container to home my remaining UDPP. I'm glad I posted about it before I do anything coz Cinthia and Alyssa commented and told me not to put UDPP in a "plastic" container coz it dries up the UDPP so fast you'll end up throwing them away. What a cheapo girl to do? Instead of going out to buy a glass container, my Lancome eye cream is housed with a glass container, and all I need to do is finish it up (which is good, coz I ended up religiously putting on eye cream at night) It took me weeks to finally finish this off! and now...I'm really ready!

Keith doesn't want me to do it!!!!
Arrggghh..
I am spoiled! LOL
well he knew I'm a big C as in CLUMSY
and I'm definitely going to cut myself!

So I ended up to be the bad photographer LOL

We tried cutting the bottom part of the UDPP but it was so darn difficult

The end part cracked so we decided to get the rest of the product from the "BUTT" area LOL

Definitely a lot of product left!

I'm not surprised!

This is the Lancome Absolue eye cream container that I re-used
(I'll report if it'll dry up the UDPP or not)

I want to share something from the Children's party we attended last weekend.

We got tatoos! LOL Glitery tattoos though!
Here's Keith's tatoo, I was teasing him that it ain't "Manly" at all! lol

My butterfuly, I had it my favorite color combo
BLUE AND PINK!
Now , this reminds me of the Jesse's Girl Shimmery Dusts! :P

After seeing all these, are you turned off to buy UDPP because of it's packaging?
I can't be turned off coz it's not even sold here! lol
TFSI (Too Faced Shadow Insurance), you're dead! I will hunt for you next! LOL
Anyone have an idea if TFSI is sold in HK or not? I think not, but I'll ask anyways.

Upcoming Review : Nana May's Magic Face and Hands

I was contacted by Ms. Li of Tiny Tapir, to give 2 of their bestselling products a try. The Nana May's Magic Face and Nana May's Magic Hands. Tiny Tapir is located in Malaysia but Nana May Products are made in Australia.

At first, I was quite hesitant because it is a "face" product and I can't seem to use just any facial care regimen due to some allergies that I have. What spurs up my interest is the Magic Hand product because I do have "laundry" hands! :P lol But what I like about them is that they stated clearly to me that I am free to do my review whether good or bad and no obligations <--- very important for me .

I have received their package more than 2 weeks ago and I just want to thank Ms. Li for giving me the opportunity to test on their products.

Just to make the review straightforward and accurate (strives to), I have stopped using my Clinique 3-step program, and it was the right timing because I just finished up my Clinique Mild Facial Wash ...and I don't have any facial wash for now LOL

Watch out for an in-depth review on this!

Nail Art Tutorial: "Hot Pink Fireworks"

(A tip: If you don't have thin brush, you can buy tiny brush from any art stores to dip with your nail polish and create strokes like this)

Another nail art tutorial that I came out with. To be honest, with all the nail colors that we can choose, I find it a bit difficult to choose nail colors and designs on top of my head, but when I have everything in front of me, I can just be a "nerd" and just sit there do my work like "I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!" lol

This week, I thought of a lovely pink nails courtesy of Toma's ELF Nail Polish, I can't stop smiling when I see all my nail polishes. Thanks again (trust me, I'll thank you again and again Toma and sad to say, you have to deal with it lol)

Step 1:
Choose a lovely nail polish color you would like to use as your background color
I chose a pink nail polish from ELF. <---oohh reminds me of the Hollywood Nights Lippie from MAC

Step 2:
I used the brush of the nail art pen too create 3 feather-y strokes as seen on photo below (and yes, I always start with my right hand, while my left hand isn't tired yet :P)

Step 3:
Let dry before you proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Using another color, I chose black, create 4 feather-y strokes between the white lines. Doesn't have to be perfect.

Step 5:

Again, relax and let dry for a minute

Step 6:

Look back. Black and white looks a bit dull, so I added another feather-y strokes using my yellow nail art brush.

Step 7:

I usually like to create something special for the thumb since it has more space, I added 3 dots. You can do this to all your nails but I prefer this on the thumb only.

Step 8:
Using my Elianto Glittery Nail polish (that I bought for 50% off), I applied one coat to make the nail art "sparkle" <-- now that's what I call shining, shimmering, splendid.

Step 9:

Last but not the least, always apply a top coat to protect your nails. I used Sally Hansen's Top Coat then Sally Hansen's Kwik Dry.

Enjoy your nails!

This will also be my entry for Alyssa's Nail Art Contest :)
Hope you guys enjoyed this as much as I did.
Again, it really takes a lot of practice and you'll enjoy the experience!

Trust me, it is rewarding to look at your "imperfect" nails and know
you've made all by yourself
