Caby, a fellow beauty blogger sent me brushes called Bedazz.  Such a cute and catchy name!  I read from her blog that these brushes were personally picked and have it manufactured and tested by herself, thus assuring the quality of these brushes!

Overall, these 3 brushes are must haves for any makeup enthusiasts.  Whether you're starting up on makeup or already a Pro, these brushes are wonderful addition to any brush family.  What I like about these brushes is the fact that they are long handled, the ferrule and the brushes are attached really well so I find that these brushes are quite stable and with care, these brushes can last.

Though I own a couple of brushes, I find that I don't have dupes for these 3 brushes.  There may be a lot of Stippling Brushes, Angled Blush Brushes and Blending Brushes, they are still unique in their own ways!

Of course, as a reminder, always wash your brushes prior to usage.  And always maintain brushes in good condition by washing them regularly.  Either spritz them with brush cleaner after every usage and deep cleanse them at least once a week.

Out of the 3 brushes, my favorite is the Angled Blush Brush as I love blushes and I love contouring!  I find myself reaching more to this on a daily basis.

So many brush brands out there!  I'll definitely keep you guys informed on what's out there!!!
Brushes out there?  Better watch out!

Eureka Moment: Another Red Lipstick That Works

A year ago, I bought my first ever red lipstick in the name of MAC Russian Red.  It was a decision I've made because I wanted to own a lipstick that works for almost all skin color and I heard MAC Russian Red does that part!  Having my own MAC Russian Red does not mean I will stop my hunt for the perfect color minus the hefty price.  After a year, I've finally found another good find!  It's not the exact dupe of MAC Russian Red but its shade of red that works for almost anybody who has lips!  Well..preferably, Female!  *laughs*

Maybelline's Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lipcolor
in Summer Sunset

I cannot categorize the shade under warm or cool as it's just in between.  Very pigmented and moisturizing and gives a good coverage in one swipe!  The color is quite hard to explain as it could be on the shade of red or deep pink on different lighting.  This lip color gives dimension to your lips and it doesn't come off too bright  or strong!  This lip color works  like no other!

Check out Summer Sunset on my lips without lip gloss

Priced at Php299.00 (approx $6.50), nothing to lose for sure!  You've got yourself a bright lipstick that works on any day!  Check out the photo of me and colleague Shanna and Mags.  We rock Summer Sunset and it looks different on each one of us right?

Have you purchased your own red lipstick?
What's the brand and shade name?
I'd love to hear from you!

AMW Reviews: Vaseline Healthy Sunblock SPF30

I have this certain addiction for sunblock nowadays!  I haven't been leaving home without sunblock because of the harsh rays of the sun!  I'd rather do the extra sunblock application rather than going out under the sun and come home with uneven skin tone,  skin darkening, or worst --- WRINKLES!

I've used so many brands of sunblock and since I was invited to be one of the Vaseline Bloggers, I have to at least give this brand a try and Vaseline Healthy Sunblock is first on the list!  I've given this product a test under the worst case sun scenario!  Here are my two cents...

Vaseline Healthy Sunblock SPF30 says ---
Non Sticky Water Resistant Sunblock Lotion
  • protects and nourishes your skin to keep it healthy
  • with yogurt protein known for skin nourishment and Aloe Vera Extract known to replenish skin moisture
  • SPF30 and Broad Spectrum Sunscreen PA++ to effectively protect skin from harmful UVA and UVB radiation
AMW says ---
Pros
  • smells divine!
  • very cute colored packaging, easy to find!
  • non-sticky
  • water resistant and sweat resistant
  • 2-in-1: Sunblock and moisturizer
  • skin feels very moisturized
  • consistency of the product is just right, not too sticky nor too wet
  • absorbs to the skin in an instant
  • it did protect me from skin darkening, I came home with just very minimal tan!
  • no signs of allergies or irritations
Cons
  •  for people who aren't comfortable with SPF30, they may find this a bit low compared to other brands available out there ( as a city girl, I am seriously ok with SPF30 for a sunblock)
  • need to wipe the mouth every now and then as product tends to build up on the cap

Overall
This is the best smelling sunblock I've tried to date!  It's scent is fresh and has a tiny hint of "tangerine" smell.  Re-applying this product every 4 hours is not an issue as it never gets sticky!

Did you know that?
if your skin normally takes 15 minutes to burn, using SPF30 means it will take 450 minutes for your skin to burn instead of the usual 15 minutes!  Isn't that cool?

Tips
  • apply all over body 10-15 minutes prior to sun exposure
  • re-apply after every 4 hours especially on prolong sun exposure
  • always take this along with you for re-application
  • always keep this in cool, dry place
  • do wipe the "mouth" of the sunblock for "OC" purposes
  • if skin irritations occur, STOP using the product immediately!
  • do not forget to apply on areas that are commonly missed (ex. ears, back of the hand, etc..)
Will I repurchase?
Yes!

Where to purchase and how much?
At leading stores for approximately Php200+ (approx $5.00), will give the exact amount once confirmed!

Here's a closer look on Vaseline Healthy Sunblock

Check out its consistency, not too sticky nor wet

When rubbed, it shows a "white" film as most sunblock does

Absorbed to the skin immediately after further massaging

Have you tried this sunblock?
I'd love to hear from you!
