AMW Workshop Series Part 3: Waterproofing Your Makeup *FULL*

Last March, I kicked off AMW Workshop Series as my own personal brand of workshop series to teach as many women I can the ways to make oneself feel beautiful both from the outside and inside.  It was a lovely surprise, and a gift from God when I got in more requests to do the 2nd workshop which I happily did last May which I coined Perfecting Your Base.  

Thinking it would be the last of the year, I gave my all!  But, fast forward to a couple of weeks after the workshop, I get random emails, IG and FB messages requesting me to follow up with a 3rd workshop!  And guys, malakas talaga kayo sa akin!  Your wish is definitely my command!  And because I've been doing "targeted and focused" workshops for the first 2, I knew I had to think of something unique and exciting for the third --- totoo na to, Last for this year!  

Introducing....

The workshop was inspired by the extreme condition of our weather!  The sudden outpour of rain then instant summer for the next hour.  I was there, sitting right outside the school of my son, feeling "hulas" and wondering what CAN be done to create an everyday makeup look minus the grease and the "hulas" feel.  Galing ng inspiration ko no?   hahaha

So I went up to brands whom I trust and believe in when it comes to makeup artistry, thankfully they all said YES!

AMW Wears: W.Lab Color Up Tint in Romantic Pink

Happy Monday AMW Friends!  If you follow me on my social media accounts you'll know we had a grand time at Ascott Makati for a short Family Staycation.  Will share more about it soon!

For now, I will be sharing one of the "very few" lip products I actually use when I am with my son!  My lip product requirement is quire simple --- easy-to-use, good pigmentation and long-lasting!  

One that "kinda" passed the standard is a Korean Cosmetic Brand called W. Lab and this product is called Color Up Tint!  I got this from my FIRST ever Althea online purchase.  

W.Lab Color Up Tint has a total of 4 shades to choose from ---

• 01 Sensual Red
• 02 Romantic Pink
• 03 Blossom Orange
• 04 Sweet Coral

Without any second thoughts, I went for Romantic Pink right away because orange or coral shades tint doesn't seem to work for me!  And I have so many red lip color nowadays so it was actually an easy decision.

Weekend Food Trip at: Icebergs

Who has been to Iceberg for Halo-Halo Fix? *raises own hand*

My family and I usually go for Iceberg especially when my brother who works abroad comes home for a short vacation!  They would always go for Halo-Halo and I would always go for the Banana Con Hielo.

And recently, I've heard nothing but positive reviews from my brother and parents because they've dined in at Icebergs so many times! 

So when my family was stuck at Harbour Square, we've decided to check out the menu and see if we will have the same positive experience like my parents.

Spotted at Beauty Bar: BARE Hair Care and Body Care Range

So how many among you are like me?  Walking around aisles after aisles at the Beauty Bar soothes your stressed and tired senses?  *sigh*

Unlike skincare, I am quite adventurous when it comes to hair and body care products!  So look what I found!

BARE HAIR CARE RANGE

There are a total of 7 variants of shampoos and conditioners to help target various hair issues.  I got the BARE Horsetail Shampoo which is for scalp repair and fragile hair!  While the conditioner variant I got is Grapefruit which is targeted for Dull Hair.

You can actually pick similar variants for both shampoos and conditioners but at times, it is okay to mix and match.

I recently have issues with my scalp.  It gets dry and itchy on certain areas.  Must be the combination of stress and environmental factors.  I personally think I can't use this alone (as to any shampoo brands) as I am used to following up with a conditioning treatment.  The scent reminds me so much of a fresh grass, so refreshing!

Eureka Moment: Ungrip Your Phone!

Funny how this simple thing that I put on my phone can call so much attention!  Can you see it?

Well, the lovely strap on my phone is called Ungrip!

My phone has flown and fell on the floor so many times I can't keep track --- Joys of being a mom to a Tornado...ahem, I mean...Toddler!

There are so many "phone grip" products in the market but nothing caught my attention until I saw the brand Ungrip!

Without saying much, the wide range of colors and designs won me over!
