Innisfree Mineral Essential Concealer Review

Concealer is one makeup product I've been "hitting the pan" so fast I literally had to stock on different brands.  

I have my favorites, but I try my best to purchase different brands so I can review them for you!  Thankfully, my favorite K-cosmetics online shopping site Althea has a couple of concealer brands and if you watched my stories, I've shared my initial thoughts when I got my order a few weeks back.

On Althea website only shade 03 True Beige was left, I personally think 03 shade is perfect for my undereye circles but for the sake of picking different shades, I went for 2 and I was right, this is a bit light on me so it works better as a  highlighter as opposed to being a concealer.

This particular shade would work well on users with fair complexion!  It has a cool undertone.

Generation Happy Skin Kiss & Bloom Water Lip & Cheek Tint Review

How does it feel to literally just wake up, apply some lip and cheek tint and rush out of the door?

Well, it's possible if you are Kathryn Bernardo!  As for me, I needed a bit of help from eye products (brow pencil and liquid liner)

But this, is the closest to Kathryn Bernardo's favorite type of makeup --- the very simple and laidback look!

Weekend Food Trip at: TuanTuan Chinese Brasserie

Every weekend, we make it a point to bond with both sides of the family, you probably knew that by now if you watch my stories.

So this post is no exception, we were off to bond with my mom-in-law at SM Megamall and I originally wanted Ooma because food there is great and my family haven't tried it there yet.  But...because it was weekend, line was too long so we went for the shortest line --- TuanTuan Chinese Brasserie.

TuanTuan Chinese Brasserie is Hong Kong comfort food with French Flair. True enough, you get the HK dishes with French interior. 

Internationally awarded in Vancouver, they are famous for serving comfort food such as congee, Macanese Rice Dishes, Halibut Noodle Soup and of course, Snow Buns!

It is obvious people (like me) would compare this to Tim Ho Wan.  I personally love the bun of Tim Ho Wan but prefers the Pork BBQ filling of TuanTuan more.  Tim Ho Wan's sweeter while this one has a distinct smoked BBQ taste which I find much more authentic (if we talk about Hong Kong Cuisine).  

Karmart's ABBC 2018 Regional Competition

Being invited as a Host for Asian Beauty Blogger Contest 2018 in the Philippines is already a blessing I can't stop thanking God for.  Doing it for the first year was so much fun I was actually excited to be part of the competition again, feel free to watch all 3 episodes here.

After the local competition was over, I got a call from a Cathy Doll representative asking me if I am available to judge the Regional Competition in Bangkok, Thailand!  

Obviously, I said YES!

It was a huge event and it was held at the 11th Largest Shopping Complex in the World - Central World Bangkok.

How I Manage To Look Fresh All Day!

I know every woman should be proud of their skin!  Everyone is extremely BEAUTIFUL!

But to keep that gorgeous looking skin sent from above, we need to take care of it.  And so far, I think I was a bit late in the skincare department (I was 28 years old when I started caring for my skin) and it is my personal duty, to share to everyone that you do the same (the earlier much better).

I know genes play a huge role when it comes to good skin, but based from personal experience, when I gave birth to Kyle and was breastfeeding, I stopped using skincare products altogether for almost a year!  It was a wake-up call when I finally took a good look at the mirror (with good lighting) and saw all the lines, redness and dry patches peeking through.  I was shocked on how a year can do so much difference.

Today, I'm back with vengeance, taking care of my skin more than ever is a life mission (okay, that's exaggeration but you get my point!)

Thankfully, it has been paying off, I have been getting compliments on how fresh my skin look, how my skin looks younger than my age!  

This is my daily face, concealer on the undereye area, lip balm and maybe a bit of eyeliner on non-lazy days!  But this is basically my skin - this is my second best skin to date (first would be my baby skin! lol)

It was also perfect timing I was invited by Cetaphil to do a talk during the #7DaysOfCetaphil event held last week.  My task is to share to the audience what I do to maintain good skin.
