Max FactorX Colour Elixir Cushion Review

How fresh can you get when you head out in a rush without much makeup on?
My everyday schedule:
Send my son to school.
Walk/Brisk walk for exercise.
Eat Breakfast as I open up my laptop for work.
Head back to school to pick up my son.
Some days, I even had to drive him to his grandparents and head for meetings or events.

ZERO FRESHNESS!  Especially my drying lips!  I always hear my infamous #YayaTab says: "Ma'am, ang dry na po ng lips niyo, mag retouch na po kayo."
(Trust me, that never offended me, we are in that relationship na we can push each other and pull each other's hair! lol)

We all know how we love our Liquid Matte Lipsticks.  They have been around for more than 2 years now so they must be doing a great job keeping us lipstick lovers happy!  But for someone sitting at a corner with dehydrated lips, there were times I chose to just apply a thick lip balm and just head out looking like a sick mom!

Thankfully, something from the early 2000s is back!  A lip product that keeps the lips hydrated while looking fresh all day!

AMW Cooks: Bistek Tagalog

Whenever I crave for that salty and citrus-y Bistek Tagalog, I always end up doing Pork Steak instead as I usually don't stock up on beef inside my fridge.

It was one fine day when the lady who sells meat offered me Beef Sirloin that looks so fresh I had to buy them!  That night, I was thinking of doing something fancy - like a Beef Steak with hot gravy sauce or something like Korean Beef Stew.

At the back of my head, I wanted something "home-y", and our #YayaTab also was craving for Bistek Tagalog.  Because I was in a mood for this and a hot plate of rice, I finally made one and it was a HUGE success because it was gone in less than an hour!

Ingredients:

  • Beef Sirloin cut into smaller strips.
  • Soy Sauce
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Calamansi
  • Onions
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • A bit of sugar

Let's Join the Par8de!

When I first heard about Par8de, I told myself I have to go there because I am the type of shopper who likes to DISCOVER one-of-a-kind brands!  Par8de has over 40 of Manila's best kept purveyors - from clothing, footwear, home decors and a whole lot more!

This year, Par8de is bigger and bolder!  With free workshops and more surprises await for shoppers this weekend at One Rockwell's East Tower Function Room!

I, together with fellow mom bloggers were invited for a preview of some of the brands included during this 2-day event (September 28-29, 2018 so mark your calendar!)

Estee Lauder ANR Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask Review

At this stage of my Blogging career (if I can call it such), okay, that sounds weird, let me rephrase it.
At this stage, 10 years plus of Blogging, I can honestly say, I'm quite confident in knowing what my skin wants/needs.  Let's talk about Face Masks, I've tried a lot of brands through the years, I started out thinking they are just there to add up to my expenses to "I can't live without them!"

Yes, I am at that stage of knowing and understanding the full importance of using Facial Masks!  I use them weekly (once, twice even thrice!)  and I can vouch on them and honestly tell you that this is honestly my secret to healthier-looking glass skin!  -- I am claiming it today that I sometimes have glass skin! :P

I've tried Php50-Php250.00 worth of face mask and I thought I wouldn't go higher than that!  Then Estee Lauder came out with their own mask called ANR Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask which retails approximately Php1,075.00 each (fine, you can do the jaw drop now!), it took me MONTHS to finally review this because I waited for that "skin moment" when it really needs all the ANR moisture and the day finally came!

Are you ready to read my thoughts about this?

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask is a weekly treatment mask that leaves skin instantly looking fresh and renewed. The foil-backed sheet mask creates a protective barrier, allowing the treatment to penetrate fast and deep within the skin's surface, and helps lock in moisture. The anti-ageing formula delivers a surge of liquid revitalisation, immersing skin in a double dose of Advanced Night Repair Serum's powerful moisture magnet.

Digital Story App You May Want To Try with Your Kid!

Mommies!

Can't veer your kids away from electronic devices?  You want them to read stories and books?
Well, if you can't beat them...JOIN THEM!

As a kid who grew up in a very conservative and strict family, I still pass down the values I learned from my parents to my son and of course, I did a bit of twist.  I welcome electronic device because hey, we are in this world were kids really have to learn to use them, and yet, I make sure my son stick to my rules on using them in moderation - same as playtime and study time - everything has to be in moderation.

My son loves to read books, books are his happiness!  As much as a lot of you may want me to rejoice, well, there will always be a downside of something "too much".  Because he loves his books so much, he tends to be engrossed on them and sometimes, forget I"m right beside him!  I like it when he engage me in his "story world" but I sometimes think it's not enough and I want more "human time"!

I recently discovered an app from Star Margarine which I shared on my Instagram page which I enjoyed so much!  Yes, kasama ang I!  Why?  Because we had more conversation with this than his books!

All you have to do is check out this link --- https://starmargarine.com/
Upload your photo and your kid's photo and that's it!
