Gel Nails with Gold Foil

 

I have been following Nail artists from Korea, Japan and Taiwan.  I am envious of their “jelly nails” and wondered how it was done.  

With constant research + All thanks to Lazada and Shopee, I was able to purchase Gel Nail Polishes that are meant to have jelly, shiny nails outcome.  I also love how they added a new element like Foil and I actually bought gold ones so I actually tried this nail art design for the first time and it took me less than 10  minutes!  

Here’s the result!  How do you like it?

Base Color: AS Jelly Color Translucent Gel Polish

Gel Base and Top Coat: UR Sugar

I ordered from the Shopee store URSugar and you have several options.  

Here’s how mine looks like, I bought option 3 and it came rolled inside a plastic bottle, all you need to do is to cut the right size/piece and press it on top of UNCURED Gel Polish layer and top it with top coat before you cure it together.

The result?  I love it!  There could be some random sharp edges from the foil, you don’t have to worry, all you need to do is gently file it once the gel polish is completely dry!

Work From Home OOTD and FOTD

 

I had a super fruitful and busy February.  

Aside from it being my birthday month, I had a couple of important work I was lucky enough to do at the comforts of my home.

A series of makeup training videos I needed to do for companies who trusted my service and I was able to finish the task before deadline.  That said, even working from home, I had to make sure to dress up and look good on videos!  I mean….looking good and preparing yourself in front of the camera is definitely one form of respect.

So anyways, the weather was still cool at that time so I’ve decided to wear a crisp white long-sleeved shirt with an outer cropped top to make myself look put-together.  I actually bought this outfit set online at Lazada for an affordable price and quality is super good.

I also did a simple yet defined makeup look.  I already did a couple of swatches for my makeup video thus you see a couple of lipstick swatches at the back of my hand.

For Php104.00, you get a gorgeous  Lip and Cheek tint that works!  

The brand is from Pretty Secret and I’ve seen a couple of reviews online regarding this brand.  I originally thought this was best for teenagers or those college students but who would’ve thought I would find something I like from this brand?

Indeed a very summer shade

I applied on eyes, cheeks and lips and this was the effect.

Very youthful!

Vida-C and Yobick Drinks

 

Things are looking up, I hope it gets really better this year.  But that said, we should continue to stock up on making sure we have the best immunity especially since it is already Level 1 in Metro Manila.

I am currently loving Vida C as my flavorited drink + Vitamin C booster.

Vida C is a soda that contains 1000mg of Vitamin C for better immunity.  It tastes like flavored soda and so far, it does not make my stomach acidity feel bad!

While Yobick, another discovery,  is a prebiotic yoghurt drink. Yobick doesn't have to be kept cold because it doesn't contain live lactobacilli. Prebiotics feed the good bacteria in our body which improves digestion and overall gut health.
