The Body Shop Edelweiss Daily Serum Concentrate and Eye Concentrate Review

 

I first got The Body Shop Edelweiss Serum Concentrate for both skin and eye as a gift and I tried the Eye serum first and went on explring the rest of the line.

This light, non-greasy, fast-absorbing formula also forms an invisible layer over your skin to help protect it from indoor and outdoor pollution (perfect for all you city types), which can lead to dehydration, dullness and premature skin ageing.

After using this for more than 2 months, I noticed my undereye area to be less dry even without using eye cream prior to concealer application.  The product is lightweight and gets easily absorbed under the eye area making it a nice base even before applying makeup!  Since this is a serum, it is best to follow up with your favorite eye cream for better result!

I used the Daily Serum Concentrate on day time and and follow up with my favorite Tea Tree stick. This product is perfect for hot and humid weather because it gets absorbed into skin in no time and does not leave a sticky-feel.

SilkyGirl Hi-Definition Brow Liner Review

 

Brow liner pencils are something I really work with because it is perfect for daily and easiest to use.  

But how good should a brow liner pencil be in my humble opinon?

It must come with various shades to choose from, it must have powdery and natural finish and it SHOULD stay until make up removal!

I recently tried SilkyGirl’s newest shades of Hi-Definition Brow Liners, they have 3 in the past and released 3 new ones.  

Top To bottom: 03 Ash Brown , 04 Natural Brown and 05 Soft Gray

Tried Ash Brown on left side brow facing you against the right one that was unfilled.  Can you see the difference?

Heatless Curls Using Robe Belt

 

I went on a staycation for my son’s birthday celebration and I was so busy making sure room decors, baloons, gifts and printoutts were all complete I forgot my own flat iron/curling iron.  

I like to look clean and made up for my son’s 10th birthday party photos so I’ve decided to curl my hair using a hotel bathrobe belt.

So it was from THIS……

How do you like it?

I like how different the curls came out.  It looks like beach waves and very soft and natural.

Some important important tips you need to follow:

1. Wash your hair beforehand with shampoo (NO CONDITIONER or HAIR TREATMENT).

2. If hair is too dry spritz water to your hair.  Hair has to be damp.

3. Use a long baathrobe tie, thickness doesn’t matter.

4. Best left overnight.

5.  If you don’t want to leave it overnight, you may blowdry “Tied” hair to quicken curling time.

6. Spritz with hairspray to “set”.

Hairline Powder

 

Have you been Budol'ed by Shopee or Lazada or TIKTOK?
I was!

I don't easily swayed by products that promises instant result but for a long time, I was intrigued by the Beauty Makeup Filling Bald Hair Shading Sponge Pen Concealer which costs less than Php100.   Nothing to lose since I am sure a lot of you are intrigued if it works for not.

It does - check out my before and after photo here.  The effect is super subtle in photography and even videos but in person, it looks really obvious so you have to use this product with the lightest hand and blending is a key to successful "hairline". 

Keep in mind that the product does not color your gray/white hair.  It does shade your hairline or scalp but that's just it.  As for waterproof or if the product goes with your sweat?  I tested them all for you.  Please click link below and watch my video!

Kiko Milano Look

2 weeks ago, I visited Kiko Milano's store opening at SM Megamall.  The brand has been making waves in the beauty world because it opened up a couple of stores in Manila!  I was one of those who got super excited because this is a well known European makeup brand that is turning out to be a "pasalubong" for those who loves makeup.  I for one received a couple of Kiko Milano makeup products as gifts when my friends or relatives arrive from their Europe trip.

I posted about my shopping experience at SM Megamall (watch HERE) and you can check out how you can do what I did when you are faced in a store with so many products.  Yes, I will teach you how to focus and buy only things that you need! :D

After buying my top Kiko Milano products, here's a quick GRWM  look that I did!  

Because I did not buy any Kiko Milano brow products, I used their Green Me Eyeshadow palette 105.

I  picked this medium brown shade (lower middle) as my brow powder.

I started with brows because there could be fall out before I do my base makeup.  Out of all the foundations available, I veered towards their stick foundation as it can double up as concealer on busy days.

Kiko Milano Active Foundation shade 2G is a perfect match on me.
