E.L.F. Tone Correcting Concealer

The first time I tried this product was on a tester, they were out of stock so I got really sad as my undereye circles diminished 50% . Several months after, I was happy to see E.L.F on leading malls and I bought it right away. After a month of usage, here's what I say (again, this is my own opinion)


Pros :

• Does it's job diminishing dark circles
  
• Can lighten your red spots and some veins around my nose
• The wand is easy to use
  
• Easy to blend
  

Cons :

• It is scented with an Orange-y smell (I can take this, but a lot of people can't)
  
• For Oily Skinned - I think this could be a problem as this tends to get a bit oily, so my suggestion is to gently pat with a loose powder after applying this concealer.

Will I repurchase?

Maybe, maybe not, it depends , as I'm planning to buy another brand of concealer..hehehe I am looking into cream concealers now uggggghhhh me and my addiction to make-up!!!

Frostings Cupcakes *yummy*

With all the "in" cupcakes, I'm sure everyone have their own share of "cupcake faves". I myself tried a whole lot of cupcakes, expensive or not...as long as they taste good, I'm in love.


At Robinson's Galleria Level 3 Jump Street West Wing, we came across with a very cute shop called FROSTINGS... they are affordable and they are yummy. I highly recommend the Swiss Choco (their Bestseller and our favorite!) ...photo below

It was a lucky "strawberry-y and orange-y" day for us as we've got free taste of cute mini cupcakes! Thanks to the staff of Frostings as they were kind enough to let us get a couple more mini cakes as they knew we enjoy freebies.... *hehehe* Here's how cute they look like

My Prestige Brushes

As seen in my previous post, I bought the Smashbox Brush set and I am happy with it :) But of course, I am starting to collect brushes that I don't have, and I came across with Prestige brushes. They don't have a lot of brushes like Mac or Smashbox but they're cheap. So I bought 2 that I don't have.

SHADOW CONTOUR BRUSH # 102 (Php 175.00 at the Beauty Bar)

This shapes, defines and contours the crease area giving a more strong and defined look







SHADOW CREASE BRUSH #103 (Php 200.00 at the Beauty Bar)

This is designed to perfectly blend the shadow into the crease
area giving out soft look





VERDICT?
I am so happy with it! It's soft and it works really well! If ONLY they could come up with more brushes.

E.L.F. Golden Glow Eyeshadow

E.L.F. cosmetics (a.k.a. EyesLipsFace) has been the BUZZ in YT world (Youtube) . And I am happy I've found E.L.F. in leading SM malls! It's not as cheap as it is in the US, as all products are sold for $1 (approx Php 41.00) and it's definitely not marked that way here! I will give separate reviews on other E.L.F. products but I just can't help but blog on this Golden Glow Eyeshadow, as I love love love this!!!!

Having yellow toned skin, it's not that advisable for anyone to use gold, yellow shadows as it won't show or you will look like you have Hepatitis! I'm not a Yellow or gold fan, but I don't know why the sudden love of gold, I went to the booth and just got the sample of Golden Glow and tried it on my hand. Since its not expensive (Php60-70 sorry can't remember). What can I lose?

Pros :

• It is indeed silky, smooth and long wearing.
• The color Golden Glow is the best for me, very pigmented (compared to the others)
• I put it on my lid and it just brighten my whole look!
• Added factor is its cute magnetic compact in 4s. You can choose colors you like and have your own quad!

Cons :

• The other colors like Ivory, Moondust are not too pigmented (or maybe its just my skin tone that I can't seem to see the colors popping out)
• The colors available here in Manila are limited. I wanted to buy the quad compact but I just can't make up my mind on what other colors I want, I was thinking of filling it all up with Golden Glow hehehe
• Do you guys know about cosmetics having lead content? Using a gold ring? Well, I did test it (this is the ONLY product I tested with lead content), after rubbing this E/S on my hand and gently rubbing it with a gold ring, it did showed a strong dark streak (which implies lead). I haven't tried other E/S yet, so I'm not sure if it's really UNSAFE.
