Something New: Graftobian HD Creme Foundation Temptress (Dish)

The first Graftobian product I own is the Graftobian High Definition Warm Palette #1.  I've been using it on clients on an myself for a while and I found that the small quantity of each color made me finish up the product as fast as a speeding bullet!  It's not bad though because I love mixing and matching shades and the palette is a perfect foundation palette for makeup artists like me.

But what if you're not a make-up artist?  What if  you don't need all the shades?  I've been asked these questions so many times and I'm glad I got an answer!  There is such thing as Graftobian HD Creme Foundation in dish

I don't need to tackle the pros and cons as the creme foundation is the same as the ones on palette form.  They are indeed very soft, silky and light on skin!  I also use this to spot conceal blemishes or undereye circles.  This is definitely great for everyday use that's why I've decided to re-purchase another one for personal use!

I wanted to order Vixen as it's closer to my skin color, since the color is out of stock, I ordered the next shade instead which is Temptress.  It's not a biggie as I like my skin tone a bit darker on some days!  And if it doesn't work?  I can always mix and match with my lighter Graftobian Creme Foundation like Graceful Swan or Ingenue!

Here's Temptress on dish with and without flash

Swatched on hand without base

Clean face using Temptress shade, no base, no setting powder
Used with Beauty Blender in application

Each dish costs Php900.00/approx $20.00 available at HD Makeup Studio.
I am loving High Definition makeup, I don't need to use a lot and yet it photographs really well!  How say you?  Have you tried any high definition makeup?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

  1. I have not tried any High Def foundation, oh wait, I tried the Revlon one. Not bad. However, I have to tell you that I have heard great things about the Graftobian line, and this just sounds so enticing.

  4. I love HD makeup as well! =) Have not tried graftobian though. I use RCMA which is a lot like cinema secrets and graftobian that photographs really well jsut differs in texture and finish. I love how hd makeup saves me time since I usually dont have to conceal after because its super pigmented and super tipid! hehe

  5. Nikki -- you mean that's not just you? Because it looks like your bare skin. I seriously doubt the foundation is making that much of a difference, lol.

  6. T, Oh Revlon have HD foundation! Yeah, I remember! How was it??? I want to know more about the Revlon one and wish we'll have it down here!

Khymm, yes, Vixen would be ok :) Temptress looks a bit dark on pot, but when I use it sparingly, it does blend well at the end!

Jheng, sis, what's your NC number? you can try this shade!

  7. Sush, I haven't used RCMA!!! I like it that these types of foundation photographs really well and does not create a white cast!

jo. frougal, its applied sparingly, but the good thing is, I do have redness on the sides of my nose and dark undereye circles, it does cover up what needs to be covered :)

Second would be the stippling brush. I think addict ako. I wanna buy individual dishes pero my palettes arent even half used. I love HD that much!! :)

Jheng, well, if you're acidic, you can go for the lighter version, try Ingenue or Vixen :)

Jamie, great for you! Rashes gone ? Perfect, you don't even need foundation na :) Their shades are limited but do wait for their shipment, I believe they will bring in more shades! Yes! This works really well for undereye circles, I love using this as concealer!

  19. Nikki, thanks to your answer to Jhen, I finally realized what works for my acidic skin! I kept searching for dark enough foundation to suit my complexion, but it always turned out cakey. I've been using a lighter one because it worked ok, but in my head I keep thinking the dark should suit me better. So now I know I was right to go for the lighter tone, because my acidic skin will make it darker. So simple, yet I couldn't wrap my brain around it before!!! LOL!

  20. what's your MAC shade , Ms.Nikki? you're definetely making me want to get that Graftobian foundie! :) iam a mac nc35 in their powder foundation, not sure if that also translates to their liquid foundies aswell .. :(

  21. jo.frougal, you always go for lighter if your skin is acidic, but it does depend on how much lighter you need :) So you really need to test on foundations prior to purchasing :D

Mikey, I'm NC20 on MAC I could also be NC25 :)Temptress is a bit dark, it could be for NC30-35 skiN :D

  22. Hi nikki! I've been using graftobian for a while now.. got the creme palettes and some dishes.. at first i thought temptress was the perfect shade for my nc25-nc30 skin tone (it was also stated in some chart).. but after much thought, i figured buttermilk (applied sparingly) or vixen works much much better on my skin--- parang it has more yellow undertones? i find that temptress is dark with less yellow.. more like bronze? vixen or buttermilk is warmer and more to my liking. :)

  24. Hi! What shade is best for nc30-35? Thanks!

  25. @Anonymous Hi there, my shade is really Vixen but since it was out of stock then when I ordered, I went for a shade darker which is Temptress, so Temptress can go for NC30-35.
