Eureka Moment: My Favorite "Pink" Lipstick

The series for "Sexy Lips Minus the Hefty Price" started after my MAC's Pink Nouveau post.  I've talked about a cheap lipstick from Daiso in PE3, its a very sexy lip color but the dryness is a huge setback.  So the hunt continuous.

I've found a favorite pink lipstick of mine!  When I had a makeover done by Jim Ros of Maybelline, I immediately asked for the "it" pink lipstick at the moment and he told me there are 2 lips to watch out for.  Kris Aquino lips (Pink Bloom) and Ruffa Guttierez  lips (BonBon Pink).  Both names mentioned are local actresses/ tv hosts.

I opted for a darker pink lipstick and he advised me to go for Ruffa G. lips.  As I stared in front of the mirror after application, I immediately fell in love with the shade and the creaminess!  I asked for the name and its Maybelline's Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lip Color in P31 Bonbon Pink.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick is infused with hydra-nectar technology for creamy satin feel and pure undiluted pigments for superior crisp color, the all-new luscious selection offers the ultimate sensational experience from glide and texture to coverage and look --- you'll surely go gaga over lipsticks like never before!

Applied on hand twice, no base

For only Php299.00 (approx $6.50), my lips are very  happy!

Have you tried Maybelline's Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lip Color?
What's your favorite shade?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

  2. Ohh, I have three of these! They're just called Moisture Extreme here in the states. My favorite is Nude Blush, it's the perfect MLBB color for me. It's soft, smooth, and nicely pigmented at such a low price. Hands down one of the best drugstore lippies I've tried! :D

  3. Have Pink Petal and Pink Peach. Both of which I don't really like because they make me look more yellow (most pinks are like that for me). I also find that the colours don't turn on very well on my lips. Very moisturizing, but can look a little bit oily. I still prefer GOSH and Rimmel for drugstore. GOSH is really cheap too. =)

It stills look nice on all three of you though.

  20. Oh, Macau has Watsons? haha, I totally missed it when I was there a few years back. hahaha. Wasn't into these things at that time.

Singapore only has a tiny tiny collection at one Guardian store... Haven't spotted it elsewhere. Sigh.

After buying that lipstick by chance, I found out that GOSH is well-known and really popular in the West. Especially GOSH Darling, touted to be the perfect Nude. The West rave about their nail polishes as well. I bought an eyeshadow quad, and it's quite good! I thought the other things were slightly expensive though, especially the blush which goes for S$24. Kind of surprising that we still only have a tiny counter which does not carries Darling and the holographic nail polishes.
