Eureka Moment: 100% Natural Deodorant

I'm one lucky girl as I don't sweat much!  Meaning, I can run a mile and still look HOT (not!)  Kidding aside, I really don't sweat much so I can skip using deodorants or anti-perspirant and probably use them only if I know I'll be staying outdoor for long or I'll be doing some strenuous activities!  That's the reason why my underarm doesn't turn dark (knocks on wood).  Yes, some or shall I say, most deodorants can make our dear underarms turn dark and ugly!  Why?  Well, these roll-ons, sticks and sprays may contain parabens, PEGs, synthetic ingredients or aluminum compounds that could cause darkening or irritations.  So best way to keep your underarm in its' most natural, gorgeous form?  Use 100% natural deodorants but seriously speaking, it is very difficult to find one!  But of course, we can always go to our trustee "tawas" (a natural white crystalline mineral salt of potassium) which I think is great but I find it tedious to apply (cause I'm one lazy woman of the 21st century!)

Recently, I've discovered a locally made deodorant from Human Nature's 100% Natural Premium Deodorant in Powder Fresh.

I personally prefer spray or stick deodorants but I didn't mind using this for the fact that the product is 100% free of harmful chemicals and so far, have done a great job in terms of its antiperspirant function and it helped that the product smells great!  I've used this product throughout my pregnancy and so far, I haven't stained any of my tops!

Priced at Php89.75 (approx $2.24), also available in Happy Pink scent.  Available at your local Human Nature dealers or online.

Do you have problems finding the right deodorant/antiperspirant?
Have you tried Human Nature's 100% Natural Deodorant?
For me, this is the first natural deodorant I've tried and so far, it was a good experience and it doesn't hurt that the product is inexpensive!  So, definitely a Eureka Moment!

  1. I've never tried a deodorant that's all natural, how interesting!

Also, I've heard that if you use deodorant that has aluminum, it is the reason clothes stain in the pit area! haha

    1. I agree, I used to use that during college and my white uniform was all stained!

  2. i believe the human nature deodorant is not an antiperspirant. normally antiperspirants contain aluminum which is dangerous to our health if accumulated. this roll on therefore perhaps even encourages sweating so as to secrete all toxins and is just a deodorant aiming to cover the smell of sweat :)

    1. Yes, it isn't antiperspirant and I heard anti-perspirant do contain ingredients that blocks the pores from perspiring which in turn isn't good for the body! thanks for the added info! I don't mind the sweat but at least the odor isn't there!
