Tips
- Application is best done with a big powder brush.
- Gently apply the product only on areas that you need to reduce shine to keep the rest of your face natural and dewy.
- Always tap the brush before applying on face to prevent "white cast".
- Less is always more.
- Prior to retouching midday, wipe off excess oil with a clean tissue paper or oil blotter sheets to prevent chalky effect.
- For areas on your face that has obvious lines or pores, press the brush gently on those area (with a tiny amount of Mary Kay Translucent Loose Powder). The product will work as a "filler" to give an illusion of even skin.

Application:
I prefer to apply this product only on areas that tend to oil up! For me, I like to apply the loose powder on my T-zone. As for our oily-skinned readers, do not forget to include your cheeks to help "set" the blush to prevent them from fading.

I'm starting to like Mark Kay! I'm a proud owner of their matte-wear liquid foundation and I love it! It's so light on the skin like you've just put a loose powder.

DeleteHi Nikki! Would you recommend silica powder for flash photography? Kasi I really like how it absorbs oil but I never use it when I go to parties where someone might use flash.
ReplyDeleteyes it is okay but used sparingly! Super minimal amount, tapping off excess upon grabbing product using brush!
