AMW Reports: Too Cool For School, SM MOA

Happy Monday AMW Friends!
Do you want to go "cyber shop" with me?  I've learned about Too Cool for School (the brand) years ago when I visited Seoul, Korea.  Through my sister-in-law, I learned we already have a branch locally and I'm so lucky their first branch is nearer to where I live, SM Mall of Asia.

Since I was at SM Mall of Asia weeks ago for my Brow Wax session at Benefit Boutique, I've decided to visit Too Cool for School to check out what's new and what's exciting with the brand!

I will share to you the star products that caught my attention.  To be honest, the store is a bit overwhelming as there are so many products to choose from.  Not to mention, the products are packaged in very cute and unique packaging!  Any girl who is into makeup can easily go crazy inside the store!

After School BB Foundation Lunchbox (php989.00)
This product immediately caught my attention because I was reminded of Laura Mercier Undercover Pot (though the Laura Mercier version comes with a loose powder at the bottom while Too Cool For School comes with BB Cream.)  I was told that this BB cream is meant for all skin types and the best part?  Scroll further down please...

It comes with a cream highlighter and concealer!  I've tested out both the cream highlighter and concealer and they glide on easily on skin and did not settle into the lines around my eyes!

The BB Cream has medium coverage.  The spatula is a wonderful idea for hygiene purpose.

If you are looking for a BB Cream with more coverage, try...

Rules of Trouble Dual Cover BB Cream with SPF30 PA++ (Php1,209)
As I tried their tester, this BB cream is obviously thicker in terms of texture and I was told this can cover skin redness and some skin problems.

If the BB cream itself isn't enough to cover up your skin concerns, I love that you can flip the cap and use the Concealer.  The concealer also gives medium to heavy coverage!  Perfect for skin redness, undereye circles, etc...

McGirly BB Cream (Php1,809.00)
And the BB cream craze isn't over, there's just so much BB creams to choose from and this one is meant for MY skin, the more mature skin who needs SPF, wrinkle-prevention and gives good amount of coverage.  The packaging is similar to Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ (though not completely the same) and it also comes with free refill and sponge!  So you get a total of 2 BB creams!

Dinoplatz Eye Shadow on FlatIron (Php605.00)

I also immediately asked about eye primers!  I've always been a fan of UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Portion) and the inexpensive version from Etude House called Proof 10 Eye Primer, I am intrigued to give this a try as it promises to keep your eyeshadow crease-free and stay longer!

Dinoplatz Pearl Bay Invasion (Php1,099.00)
Since I'm a fan of Pearlescent finish, I found a dupe for my favorite Benefit Girl Meets Pearl!  The Pearl Bay Invasion is a brightening primer that's meant to be applied after skincare prior to foundation application.

Perfect Day Makeup Fixer (Php665.00)
My love for Makeup Fixer started when I used MAC's Fix+, then Mary Kay's Finishing Spray by Skindivania.  I haven't really tried any makeup fixer from a Korean Cosmetics Brand and I'm glad Too Cool For School have these!  Anyone tried this?  Let me know if it's effective in keeping your makeup fresh for the whole day!

Play Cheek Angel Blusher (Php665.00)
Another cute packaging for a cheek blusher!  It comes with 3 lovely shades and at the bottom part, you get a nice powder puff best applied with a patting motion starting from the apples of your cheeks going upwards to your hairline!  The effect is always natural no matter how much you apply!

Lip Study Lipstick
I love the packaging of this lipstick, I forgot to note down the price but I love the shade!  Very natural coral finish.

Makeup Brushes
Too Cool for School offers a wide array of brushes, I see Stippling Brush, Foundation Brush, Powder Brush, Eyeliner Brush, Lip brush etc...

Xakziuza Cleansing Water (Php749.00)
A cleansing oil --- normal, a cleansing water?  I have seen one from Purederm but this one looks exciting as it is housed in a "pump" packaging (which usually is used for nail polish removers!  I wonder if the cleansing water can remove waterproof makeup?  Let me know if you have purchased and tried this!  I am intrigued!

So far, Too Cool for School products is interesting in terms of packaging, most of them have dual purposes and the price is on the mid-range.  I am most intrigued to try their BB creams and primers!

Have you purchased from Too Cool for School?
Any star product you highly recommend?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!
