AMW Reviews: Glamcor Hygienic Hand Palette

Good day AMW friends!
Today's review is something for the makeup artist or even for makeup enthusiasts who enjoys mixing their foundations!

You've heard about the Monda Oval Steel Mixing Palette and BeautycornerPH Acrylic Makeup Palette, the 2 palettes mentioned are my perfect partners when I do makeup on clients!  Who would've thought there is something made for fast-paced makeup environment?  (ex. Fashion Shows, Bridal gigs, etc...)

I have to admit, when I'm in a hurry, I tend to use the back of my hand as I do not have time to clean my palettes with alcohol!  Thankfully, there's a hygienic way in doing so!

The Glamcor Hygienic Hand Palette
I can literally hear fellow MUAs rejoicing!

  • Reduces clean up time
  • Latex free
AMW says ---
Pros
  • Handy.
  • Translucent so it doesn't change the color of foundation.
  • Easy to use.
  • No need to clean my hands after every mixing.  This is a breeze as I tend to use a lot of tissue paper and alcohol.
  • Clients appreciate the extra effort for hygiene.
  • The product still allow the transfer of body heat thus makeup products blend equally well as mixed directly on hand.
  • Adhesive is amazingly strong yet easy to be removed without the "ouchy" feel.
  • Prevents transmission of bacteria, viruses, sloughed skin, sweat, oil, and hair
Cons
  • Additional expense for professional makeup artists but at the end of the day, it is WORTH it.
Neutral
  • Comes in box of 50s, you can't purchase them in smaller quantity.
Overall
Very unique yet effective hand palette!  There are times makeup artists still like to mix their products using their hand for the product to be 'warmed up' with body heat, this is a perfect tool that prevents transmission of dirt from your hand to clients' faces.

Tips
  • You do not need to take the box with you on a makeup gig, store them on a resealable bag to save space.
  • Do not use 1 Glamcor Hygienic Hand Palette on 2 clients, it defeats the purpose of using it for hygiene.
  • It is still very important to clean your hands before you do makeup on clients with alcohol.
  • Throw the Glamcor Hygienic Hand Palette immediately after use.
Will I repurchase?
YES!  Just ordered a box!

To whom do I recommend this to?
Professional makeup artists and regular "Janes" who likes to mix their makeup yet dislikes to clean their hands in between.

Where to purchase and how much?
Locally available at www.beautycornerph.com for Php650.00 (approx $14.78) box of 50s.

 Peel back side

After removing adhesive on one side, stick it on your hand and do the same on the other side.  You can leave it as it is (on photo below) while you pick the products to use, peel the top portion off ONLY when you're ready to use the hand palette.

As soon as you remove the top portion of the barrier, you get a "clean" and "sterile" surface to work your magic!

The film is almost transparent so it doesn't change the effect on mixing directly on your hand.

Though the adhesive sticks quite well on your skin, it is a breeze to remove!

It folds into a small trash easy to be disposed!

I love this product so much I ended up ordering a box from Beautycornerph.com!
Though I enjoy using mixing palettes on clients, I like to bring some saving these up on gigs that require me to move like a FLASH :)

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!
