Speaking of proud, one thing I'm proud about myself is the fact that I can hold off NOT using the next skincare products (as much as I would love to jump from one brand to another), I just can't! And I can't believe I have such willpower! It must be my sensitive skin or my skin's inability to adapt from sudden skincare changes! *laughs* Poor me!
My first ever Shiseido skincare product range that I have tried is their Shiseido 1-2-3 Skincare Moisturizing Line, I told you the story about the "samples purchasing" at Bonjour Hong Kong several years ago! The next range was the White Lucent Line which is as equally good as the moisturizing line! I was so tempted to jump to the new Ibuki line right away but I have to let my skin settle and breatheas I insert one product at a time (ex. Cleanser first, then eye cream, then moisturizer etc...) as it is easier to pinpoint the "suspect" in case there are any skin issues.
That works for me so I hope some of you may find this tip useful and give it a try when you plan on trying out new brands!
The Shiseido Ibuki Line
Shiseido Ibuki Gentle Cleanser

"An extra gentle cleanser that lathers quickly into a rich foam to remove
impurities and harmful excess sebum without stripping away skin’s
essential moisture. Skin feels refreshed and silky-smooth to the touch."
The term "gentle" made it easy for me to want to try this product! I have used this for a couple of days now and so far, my skin feels smooth after every wash and it doesn't strip off the natural oil of my skin but it doesn't add up to the "oily" feel.
Shiseido Ibuki Softening Concentrate
Php1,600 (approx $36.00)
"By supplying skin with generous moisture, this deep-infusion formula
helps deliver immediately effective ingredients into the skin for a
softer, smoother feel. Enhances the benefits of the skincare that
follows."
My favorite Shiseido product will always be their "serum" or "concentrate". I am a believer in their instant boost of moisture in a week's time (referring to their other skincare line) so I have high hopes for this!
Shiseido Ibuki Refining Moisturizer Enriched
Php1,950.00 (approx $44.00)
"This multi-action formula intensively corrects the appearance of
unevenness such as visible pores, breakouts/ blemish marks and skin
roughness. It renews the skin’s surface, revealing an incredibly smooth,
uniform texture, while keeping skin hydrated all day long."
Seldom can I find moisturizer that helps reduce visible pores, breakouts, blemish marks and skin roughness at the same time keeping our skin hydrated! I am most intrigued in testing this out! I hope it won't dry out my already dry skin though! Wish me luck!
Shiseido Ibuki Eye Correcting Cream

"This cool comforting eye cream diminishes the appearance of dark
circles,
puffiness and fine lines. Eyes become instantly more vibrant."
Okay, I am a believer on it's cool, comforting effect as it does give that kind of feel during and after application! I haven't seen any reduction of eye puffiness or fine lines but I definitely can feel the undereye area more hydrated thus concealer application is a breeze!
Overall, I am quite impressed in terms of the simplicity of packaging, the straightforward "target what needs to be target" product, the fact that the product can help keep your skin hydrated, glowing at the same time help reduce the appearance of breakouts!
