I Wonder:What's Your Favorite Brand of Feminine Wash?

Oohh, such a topic on a Monday huh?
But let's face it, it may not be the topic we want to write about but definitely a topic we would like to talk about!  I have always been a feminine wash user, I'm talking about years....long before organic feminine washes are in the market, I am one of the many "commercially made" feminine wash users and I've used probably almost all the brands available locally.

Let's face it, using regular soap to wash our genital area won't make the cut, why?  Aside from stripping off the external protective barrier in that area, using scented  soap and body wash may cause certain genital infections *ouch*  (feel na feel ba? lol) especially with our weather condition where bacteria can easily rear its super ugly head!

After I gave birth, the pH balance down there definitely changed (of course I won't discuss more!  lol), most of my favorite feminine washes that I used to love just doesn't feel as effective as it was pre-pregnancy!  Luckily, I recently discovered the brand Sebamed, well not really a discovery as I knew about this brand way back but didn't know it was locally available.  I was told it has been around for a decade, don't ask me why I haven't seen them before!  *laughs*

I have used Sebamed Feminine Intimate wash for a month now and this one is for users who have sensitive skin.

So far,  I like the packaging as it is 100% biodegradable and I like the easy flip cap and squeeze tube.  I can easily dispense the right amount of product I need in the shower.  As for the texture, the Sebamed Feminine Wash is clear (almost shampoo like) and lathers a bit when you mix with water.  The best part about this wash?  The scent!  I love the mild, floral scent that doesn't irritate the nose and definitely can keep the odor under control especially when you are the sweaty type!

Back of the packaging

Overall I'm hooked with this and loving the results.  I'm actually looking forward for each shower as the scent really amazed me!  But I have to remind you that this product is NOT 100% organic!  I will be using Human Nature's Feminine Wash as soon as I finish this and will let you guys know what I think.  But as for this moment..this is my favorite Feminine Wash and I'm glad I tried this!

** Sebamed Intimmate Feminine Wash costs Php650.00 (approx $15.10) available I'm all PCX branches (Ermita, Rockwell, Greenbelt, Festival Mall and Alabang Town Center) Watsons in selected SM Dept stores (Makati, Megamall B, Cubao, North Edsa, The Block, Southmall, MOA and Aura). Landmark makati and trinoma.

I WONDER:
What's Your Favorite Brand of Feminine Wash?
Or do you even use one?

  1. Ay! What a peculiar topic indeed. :3

I usually grab any variant of Lactacyd in the supermarket but for the past 6 months I've been using Pure N' Fresh in Fabulously Fruity. This may seem juvenile - their target market are pre-teens and teenagers after all - but what sold me is the scent. PEACHES!!! My golly :3

  2. This is quite expensive for a feminine wash, hehe, hindi afford ng budget. My HG fem wash is the one from human nature, not because its organic, but because it really keeps my down there clean and fresh, and it also keeps the odor at bay. :)

    1. I know Eiss, at first glance, but as compared to other feminine washes, this one is not as watery so a little goes a long way, been using this for almost a month now and I'm not even using up 1/4 of the bottle, I'm still checking how long in months I will be using this and see if it's worth it! :) but if you have the human nature that works for you at fraction the price, so good for you! :) I am excited to try Human nature too! :D

  3. I remember when I was a medical intern, the ob-gynes actually recommended gyne-pro to post-partum moms because I think it's the cheapest one with chlorhexidine (an antiseptic). In general though, you'd want to use a feminine wash that has a low pH (acidic) to deter the growth of microbes.

    1. Good for you that you started to use Feminine wash and you bought one from Sale pa! I've been a PH Care user for years and so far this is a nice change considering I'm more sensitive down there after giving birth! What's the scent of PH care that you use? I've always been using the PINK one but I've tried the blue one too!
