Unboxing: December BDJ Box - Max Factor

Recently, I received BDJ's December Box and I find this very special!  Why?  Aside from the exclusive Max Factor box, I also get a Focus/Finish planner from Belle De Jour which I find really important as I'm really into traditional writing amidst the electronic world!  Yes, even with my updated electronic gadgets, I still prefer my trustee handy-dandy notebooks to keep myself sane from all the crazy schedule!  How about you?  Are we the same oldie-but-goodie? :P

Please continue reading to see what's inside!  I'm excited with these as I haven't tried a lot of Max Factor products! 

Max Factor Creme Puff Pressed Powder

Php575.00  (approx $13.70)

All-in-one compact powder that works to give you natural coverage at the same time luminous glow!  I have tried this because I got one from a Max Factor event I attended a month ago, so far, I'm still in the process of reviewing this product so feel free to come back as I'll definitely post an in depth review on this once I'm ready :)  If you have tried this, feel free to let me and the readers know your experience!

The shade I got is medium beige which I think would work for my skin tone.

Initial review: I'm not impressed with the sponge though, 

I hope they can come up with a better sponge in the future.

Max Factor Facefinity All Day Flawless 3-in-1 Foundation

This is a 3-in-1 foundation that can hold your makeup, correct flaws and gives a matte finish.  I am really excited to try this ever since I saw the ad from an international magazine.  Full size 30ml bottle costs Php925.00.

 

Max Factor Earth Spirits Eyeshadow

The color is perfect for everyday wear.  You can either sweep this color all over your lid and finish with a good liner or you can use this as a crease color and create dimension by adding up dark brown eyeshadow on the outer-v for a more dramatic look.  For a sample size, I find you can use this multiple times and I can imagine having a hard time finishing this up!  I mean, even as a makeup artist, i find it difficult to finish eyeshadows!  Do you feel the same?

Max Factor Kohl Pencil

Sample size (Full size costs Php425.00)

This is a creamy Kohl Pencil that blends easily.  Can be used as a liner or an eyeshadow base for a strong smoky eye!  This product is said to be smudge proof, long-wearing and won't fade but I have to test this out as I have personally never tried a Kohl Pencil that won't smudge in our humid weather!

Max Factor Colour Collection Lipstick 

Sample Size (Full size costs Php595.00)

Rich formula with shea butter, green tea extract and Vitamin E which gave me an impression of a really moisturizing lipstick that hugs the lips and lock in moisture.  I wonder if this really last hours after hours as stated in its description!

Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara

This mascara is more of a volumizing mascara as it promises to provide 400% more volume versus your bare lashes!  That really intrigued me and I actually tested this immediately and so far, the result is fab!  I just need to test this and use this more to check if this is "Panda-eyes" proof! :)

 

Max Factor Glossfinity Nail Polish

Php245.00 (approx $5.83)

This nail polish promises glossy nails for 7 days!  I have been very impressed with all Revlon Nail Polishes so I can't wait to see if I'll be loving the Max Factor polish as well!  Will definitely share my feedback soon!

 

Overall, I am very happy with this month's BDJ Box!  Though most of them are in sample sizes, I find the sample sizes good enough for several uses and the presence of Creme Puff Pressed Powder made this box worth it!  And since I'm a good girl this year, thank you BDJ for the BDJ Forget-Me-Not List Journal!  I will definitely use this at work for all my to-do lists!
