This is How I Do It: My Inglot Freedom Palette Look

Happy Friday!!!
I am looking forward for this weekend but I am definitely NOT resting at all!  There's just so many things to do and there are times I pray I have 2 bodies!  *lol*  Do you feel the same?

Well, I'm busy preparing for a "trip" (will talk more about it when it's finalized) plus...moving out...and Baby Kyle's First Birthday Party!  Wish me luck!  I hope I can manage this!

I recently blogged about my new Inglot Freedom Palette and I created a simple look using all the products included in my Freedom Palette.  Thanks to my dear reader Theresa for requesting a tutorial on this!  I hope this simple tutorial helps newbies out there! :D

My Inglot Freedom System Look

Step 1:
Using my Soffia Blending Brush, I used the lightest shade from 117R pan and sweep the brush over.

I applied this all over my lid as shown on photo below.

Step 2:
I picked my Charm Essentials Vegan Brush Set and picked the Angled Eyeshadow Brush to grab some of the middle shade.  This shade is perfect to create an illusion of deeper set of eyes.

I like to look down and apply this shade on the hollow between the eyeball and brow bone.

Step 3:
This time, I pick the darkest shade of this eyeshadow pan with my Charm Essentials Vegan Precise Pencil brush.

Darken the outer-v for more definition.  Start by applying lightly then add more as needed.  Don't worry about harsh lines as you can always feather it out with your favorite blending brush.

Don't forget to apply the same shade on the lower lash line!  Concentrating more on the outer corner.

Step 4:
Back to my favorite blending brush, I used Inglot Eyeshadow shade 29 as the perfect tool to "highlight" my eyes or even face!

I concentrated application at the center of my lid with a patting motion.

Step 5:
Pick up your favorite lip brush or in some cases that you prefer gradient lips (like those from Korean actresses), feel free to use your fingers and pat the lip color at the center of your lips.

As for me, since my eye makeup is neutral, I like to highlight my lips instead so I want to create definition.  That is possible with a lip brush!  The shade of the Inglot Lipstick is No. 10!  I love this shade so much!  Highly pigmented and very creamy!

Step 6:
Let's not forget to blush!  AMC Blush 70 reminds me so much of Shu Uemura Blush!  The shade is deep Coral and this shade works for almost all skin tone!  I can imagine both fair and dark skinned gals rocking this blush!

I apply sparingly starting from my hairline for a bit of "contouring".

  7. Hi Nikki this look suits you. I am into neutral eye make up as well but for some reason my eyelid is naturally brownish so my eye make up gets really heavy even with minimal make up on. Do you have any tips and tricks on how to do a neutral eye make up on people with brown (I don't know how to call it) eyelid? Thanks a lot!

    1. Hi :) Sorry didn't get to know your name but thanks for the compliment and your query.
With re: to lid that is "naturally tinted", try using an eyeshadow primer (with shade) or paintpots or creaseless creams (Paintpot from MAC) (Creaseless Creams from Benefit) or those drugstore brands like L'Oreal or Maybelline eyeshadow creams that can help neutralize the natural color of your lid! Purchase matte shades (Ex. MAC Bare Study) etc...and use that prior to eyeshadow application, it can mask the darkness or color brown of your lids...imagine like a concealer for your eyelid :D Hope this helps! I'll try to come up with a tutorial on that too :D
