How To: Korean Gradient Lips/Just Bitten Lips

Happy Thursday AMW friends!
I am sharing my favorite lip trend OF ALL TIME!  Why?  This trend works so well on my "already full" lips!  No wonder I have been doing this for the past weeks mixing various lipsticks, lip glosses and tints!  The art of trial and error and the fun of getting the best shade (combination) for you!

Are you ready to have "Just bitten" lips in a minute or less?

What you may need:
  • Concealer or nude lipstick
  • Lipstick (in red, orange or pink) - whatever shade your heart desire!
  • Lip Tints/stains

Step #1
Prior to lipstick application, while you are busy doing your eye makeup, apply a generous amount of lip moisturizer all over lips to keep lips soft and moist.

Wipe off excess balm or moisture with a wet tissue and apply a thick layer of nude colored lipstick all over lips or concealer if you have thick and full lips like I do.

Tip: If you have thin and small lips, apply with your choice of soft pink, light coral lipstick all over lips as base.

Step #2
Using a medium shade lip gloss, apply at the center of your lips excluding the outer corner of your lips.  Dab as much as you need.

Step #3
Since lip glosses tend to easily slide off midday, pick your favorite lip tints or stains.  Ex. The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Tint, Benefit Benetint, Ellana Ruby Lip and Cheek Gel)

Dab using applicator or your smallest finger the center of your lips.

This technique will not only create a beautiful gradient effect but the tint/stain will help "seal in" the gloss thus making this longer lasting!

You can also use your favorite red lipstick if you don't have any lip stains or lip tints and apply at the center of your lips for a more obvious "stain" :)

Have you tried Korean Gradient lips?
What's your favorite combination?

(Include brand names and shades please!)

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!
