AMW Reviews: Vaseline Healthy White Instant Fair

Since it's Thursday, I'm doing a bit of a throwback Thursday post!  I can still remember the fun days Hannah, Ada and I had during our Vaseline Roadtrip of a Lifetime!  It was one of the major projects I've done in my blogging career!  I'm still very thankful to my Unilever family and Media Contacts for the opportunity.  If you have time to read my previous posts, click VASELINE ROADTRIP OF A LIFETIME.

Though it has been 4 years, I can proudly say that I still use Vaseline Healthy White SPF24 Triple Lightening Lotion and I even turned my sister into a believer.  (Review of the product HERE)  She buys this lotion and blames me for making her addicted to it! :)  I love you sis!

Fast forward to today, I saw a commercial on the newest Vaseline Healthy White Instant Fair Visible Fairness Lotion and I wasn't sold!  I originally thought this is the usual instant whitening product that makes you appear chalky, fake and texture is yucky!  Thanks to my Sampleroom Family for sending me samples OR else, I won't even dare purchase this as I'm afraid of looking like "human espasol"!

Vaseline Instant Fair Lotion is the newest member of Vaseline’s extensive line of products. It is an instant whitening lotion that allows for fairer and even-toned skin in just one application. Pros

• Smells great, just like my favorite Vaseline Healthy White SPF24 Triple Lightening Lotion.
• Non-greasy.  Get absorbed into the skin leaving no oily, heavy-feel.
• You get instant gratification, yes, you see your skin looks fairer on FIRST use.  
• The fair effect is VERY natural and almost cannot be spotted immediately.
• Can be used all over body.
• The effect reminded me so much of Benefit Bathina but this is WAY more inexpensive.
• Aside from giving Instant fair effect, it also gives long-term lightening effect because of the presence of Vitamin B3.
• Because of its instant effect, I have the drive to religiously apply lotion on a daily basis.
  

Cons

• Those who have already "fair skin" may not see the results as quickly as those with medium to darker skin.  You have to apply more than usual to see the results.
• If you are expecting the super "white" effect, you won't get it as the effect of Vaseline Healthy White Instant fair is subtle and natural-looking.

Overall
Great scent, non-greasy and best of all, because of its' color - pink.  Pink gives instant "brightening" effect which results to users wanting to apply religiously due to instant gratification.

Tips

• Apply Php0.25 coin amount on one arm to see the effect.
• Same with the legs, start applying a small amount then gradually apply more to see how much product is needed on each body part for a more effective result.
• If you will be out under the sun for a long time, apply your favorite higher SPF sunscreen prior to Instant Fair lotion.
• Off to an event?  Apply this all over body as it gives an instant "glow".  I plan to carry a tube with me on my makeup gigs!

Will I repurchase?
Big YES! 

To whom do I recommend this to?
Whitening lotion users who like to see the immediate result for that push to keep on applying lotion on a daily basis.

Now let's zoom in to my knees!  With all the kneeling chasing after Baby AMW, I'm glad Vaseline Healthy White Instant Fair helped lighten up the dark areas around my knees!
