Well, let's talk about Michael Kors first, what comes to your head when I mention the brand? On top of my head, I would say ---Watch! Then Bags! Yes, I knew they have beauty products but I will NEVER set my expectations high!
But surprisingly, the brand delivered!
The Lip Lacquer is housed in a gorgeous GOLD BAR packaging! Luxurious to look at and definitely worthy to take out for retouch!
The shade I got is called BOMBSHELL which is under the SEXY line. And when we think of sexy, we always think of RED LIPS! So Michael Kors definitely hit the spot in creating a RED Lipstick for their sexy line.

Bombshell Lip Lacquer is a blue-based red lip color making it an easy target for user with cooler skin tone! Although I have extremely warm skin tone, I find this red quite wearable because of the extra "gloss" it gives without the sticky feel! I also like how most blue-based red lipstick can make my teeth appear whiter than usual!
The lipstick is extremely creamy and easy to apply. It leaves none of those yucky, sticky feel! One swipe is good enough for a day time red lippie look, it is opaque enough but has a hint of sheen making dry lips appear healthier than usual! The bonus? The very nice "stationary-like" scent! It goes away in about 5 minutes but the scent makes me smile and puts me in a very good mood on EVERY application!
Michael Kors Lip Lacquer is priced locally at Php1,500.00 (approx $34.00). Not bad considering the packaging, the quality of the lipstick and how it is wearable on both day and night! Though I own gazillion shades of red lipstick, I find the Bombshell shade a bit too unique to even find an inexpensive dupe! None for now, I'll report back if there's any!
