AMW Gift Ideas: Gift of Sight and Color

Hey AMW friends!  It's the month of December and we have a couple of days left before Christmas!  Are you panic-gift-shopping?  I SUPER AM!

I've been busy for the whole year (you're probably rolling your eyes now mustering --- "obviously"!)  Well, one thing that I hate doing is to shop especially when I have an active toddler with me!  So most of the gift-gifting list that I do are quite friendly not only on the pocket, but for busy-beees!

In between beauty, fashion, mommy and food talks, I will be inserting "AMW Gift Ideas" every now and then so please watch out for it!  And who knows?  I will also be announcing a winner from random commenter to receive a "Care Package from AMW!"  Because...it's Christmas!  I feel like ...giving!

So back to the first gift idea for the year 2016 --- the Gift of Sight and Color.

I almost screamed for joy when I received these gift certificates from a good Blogger Friend.

Okay, I looked "stoic" but I was screaming deep inside.  This friend of mine knew how much I got converted into using colored contacts on special events, photoshoots, etc....

That's me, with only 1 hour of sleep wearing FreshLook^®Color Contact Lens in Brown.  It may not look like I'm wearing anything but it made my eyes look a bit bigger and more alive, since I'm literally dying inside!  *laughs*

My Inglot Freedom System Palette Look

So finally, I've decided to create a simple makeup look using my newest Inglot Freedom System Palette with the eyeshadows, face powder, cheek powder and lipsticks that I own in this palette!  And don't judge me AMW friends, andun na ako eh, ubusan na to ng headshot poses!  Well, it just proves that the shades made me feel comfortable enough to pose in front of the camera, even in person, I can do all those in seconds :P  Just for you my friends (konting pilit lang hahahaha)

I am aiming to put the rest of my Inglot products in this palette, this is what I LOVE about the Freedom System, I get to put whatever Inglot makeup I need especially when I'm out on staycation.  As a professional make up artist, this is the answer to my "lugging so much makeup during retouch" because I only need to carry ONE palette!  Trust me when I say, it is a total ease!

For this particular tutorial, I used ALL the products included in my Freedom System Palette.  The look can change depending on how you apply your shadows and what type of lipstick shade you would choose.  In my case, (malakas kayo sa akin), I wore all 5 lipstick shades for you to pick your favorite!  Because I'm the queen of changing lipstick between meetings, this is definitely my "trademark" for now!

How I Instantly Change the Way I Feel and Look!

I am one of those girls you would call "boring", "conventional", "very simple".  That's why if you follow me on IG stories, you'll see that most makeup looks I do are on the low-key version, easy-to-do, wearable for everyday and most importantly, apt for my age.

But there are days really that changing a regular MLBB shade of lipstick to something dark and vampy won't do the cut, there are days I just want to feel and look different, on days I want my photo to stand out even if I have minimal makeup on, just like the photo below.

Did it take long for you to see the difference?  I'm sure a lot of you already spotted it, I'm wearing colored contacts and it made a HUGE difference right?  For the particular photo, I wore AIR OPTIX^® Colors in Green.

All thanks to my Beauty Blogger friend Marj Sia for pushing me to try out other shades!  I've always been the "boring" girl even with contacts!  I've used FreshLook^® Illuminate Dailies in Rich Brown for several of my close-up shots because it enhances my eye shape yet it doesn't give a drastic change for you to notice!

For the Hair

Whenever I visit a Zenutrients booth, I always go for their scented products, all thanks to Sampleroom I get to try this Gugo Strengthening Hair Serum.  I may not have thinning hair issues but I have a lot of hair fall especially the past few months were stress is really taking a toll!

What I usually do is just massage a small amount of this into the scalp evening before I go to bed and wash off the next morning!  It took around a week or two to see a huge difference on less hair fall!

My L'Oreal True Match and Brow Artist Makeup Look + Initial Review

Happy Choose-Day AMW Friends!  How are you feeling today?  I'm feeling really tired from this crazy weather and the tasks that seems to be endless!  But like I said over my previous posts, I am choosing to be in a good mood because complaining will add up another "wrinkle" on my "oldie face"!

I'm sharing you my huge smile today because I am wearing pretty Air Optix Lens in Pure Hazel!  I've tried Sterling Gray, it looks really nice but the Pure Hazel is really natural to look at so I hope I can keep on practicing so I can wear this on my "feeling-not-so-pretty" days.  There are days we tired mommies want to look pretty right?  

And today's the day because I felt pretty after testing out the new L'Oreal True Match Makeup and Brow Artist products.

How To: Special Events Make Up

Hi AMW Friends!  This post will be full of AMW photos so please bear with me!  As much as I would love to lessen the products I used, well, for the first time in AMW history, I think I used more than 10 products!  Well, forgive me for such tedious tutorial because I was requested to do a Special Events Make Up and when it comes to special events, we do need a lot of help to make us look like the better version of ourselves!  Right?

Initial thoughts: Feels very comfortable to wear and I definitely love the effect of Sterling Gray on me!  I can't wait to try out  more colors!

Benefit They're Real, Honest Mascaras and Liners Launch

So a couple of days ago, I went to a "mysterious" event for Benefit Philippines.  As we all know, Benefit events are always exciting!  So off I went to Black Sheep with no expectation, well, I did expect some hunks though!  hahaha and they never fail!
