AMW Reviews: Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0

I shared on my IG account how the coming of Zenfone 2 Laser was perfect timing because my Samsung S5 is starting to act up.  You've probably seen a lot of reviews from fellow bloggers so I'll try to make this as straightforward as possible, a girl and guy's point of view!  I had to include the guy's point of view because I had Mr. AMW trying out all the technical stuff and I went gaga over the usual "Social Media apps".

The color that I got is perfect, in Gold finish because as much as I'm childlike in nature, when it comes to my gadget, I want the sophisticated-feel!

The KIT comes with 1.2 GHZ processor, 16gig storage, 2GB memory, 5MP front and 8MG back camera with laser assist auto focus.  The accessories included are USB Cable with adapter and earphones with different earbud sizes.

First of, the feel of the phone is very chic and classy and I like how it fits my small hands perfectly.  I can take a perfect selfie without the phone wobbling from side to side like most big-sized smartphones do.

The gold finish is perfect for men and women of all ages! 

And I love the fact that I have a "couple" phone with Mr. AMW!

The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser's battery is removable and as you can see, you can expand the memory upto 128 gig!  Which I love because I enjoy taking photos of my little Angel!

And did I mention this phone is Dual Sim?

And cheers to OC boys and girls like me because the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser's User Interface automatically categorize downloaded apps!  It may not be perfect but it gives me the pleasure of seeing the right app in the right folder!

And because I give my son some "mobile phone" playtime every now and then, I usually have this "eagle eye" mode on whenever he clicks particular apps that aren't supposed to be for kids!  So here's a great news for fellow mommies out there!  The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser has Parent Settings!  

 You can set play time for your kids like I usually do!  I give him maximum of 30 minutes phone time!

And hey, try to make your 4 digits parental control pin difficult because my son definitely knows 1-2-3-4 !  

Here's how the kids mode look like and I appreciate the fact that I don't need to pay extra for this and I don't need a separate gadget for kiddie games!

As for Daddy, he is fond of games and he was amazed how the Zenfone 2 Laser can load high end games he tried and how it can play HD movies! 

Now of course, you guys know how much I cling on to my phone for photos!  I always update all my Social Media accounts on the phone (ex. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat) and check my mails --- I don't have any issues on how fast the User Interface of Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0 is!  

I also enjoy the Excellent HD Screen (1280 x 720) making my photos looking crisp and sharp!

And can you see all those pre-loaded camera modes?  It reminds me so much of my Samsung NXMini camera! 

 

The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0 of course has a bit of a downside that I need to mention.  I have a hard time taking this around with me because I still haven't found a screen protector and casing to protect my phone!  The camera has extremely QUICK AutoFocus, even faster than most of the smartphones I own but the quality of the photos may not be the best but hey!  You can't complain for the price!

For the price of Php7,295.00 (available at Lazada.com), you definitely get the best value for money because the performance of this phone can surpass even some of the higher-ended phones!
