Something New: Mary Kay Skinvigorate Cleansing Brush and Foaming Cleanser in PURPLE!

Do you still remember my initial thoughts on the Mary Kay's newest Skinvigorate Cleansing Brush?  I have been constantly using it for the past year at least once a week especially on days that I put on heavy makeup!  It really does the job in removing ALL traces of makeup plus dirt and grime!  And the best part for dry skin out there?  It doesn't dry out my skin as I expected!

It is the fact that the product comes with 2 settings, I always use the low setting because I also have thin and sensitive skin (as opposed to my thick-faced nature!  LOL)  And I always follow with a heavy cream at night when I go to bed to re-hydrate my skin from all the lost moisture.

And guess why I'm re-blogging this product again?  BECAUSE.......

Ahhh, just when my white version is looking old and grumpy!  *laughs*  I can't say goodbye to the white one but I can't help but used this for the year 2016!

Now, is there a difference between this and the original white version?  NONE at all!  Only the color but everything else is exactly the same.

For the kit priced at Php2,390.00 (approx $56.90) you get the system with 2 brush heads and a battery pack.

It may be pricey at first glance but this is way more inexpensive than the pricier brands out there!  Now here's the good part of using this system for almost a year ---
  • Removes makeup better than hand-cleansing.  After washing my face with cleansing oil, I can still see makeup marks on the brush after exfoliating.
  • My serum and moisturizer gets absorbed into my skin better than without this system.  (I can feel this)
  • Skin felt instantly soft upon first use.
  • Relaxes me as it gives a massaging effect.
  • Skin looks brighter and better after prolong use.
It must be taken into consideration though that if you have troubled skin, constant exfoliation may aggravate the problem by causing irritation.  Or maybe, the dirty exposed-brush may cause bacteria to spread even more!  So I recommend you to visit a Dermatologist before you use any "high tech" equipment at home.

Also, if you have sensitive skin, try to use a facial wash that goes with the system like this one from Mary Kay called Foaming Cleanser melaCEP or any gentle facial wash (without beads) that you use at home!

And of course, moderation is always the key, try not to over use this product and always do the next step of hydrating your skin with a good moisturizer.

Have you fall into the "Cleansing Brush" fad?
