Max FactorX Miracle Match Foundation Review

So after a rave review from Max FactorX Skin Luminizer Foundation because of the "brightening" effect it gives which works so well on my skin type, I welcome, with open arms --- Max Factor's newest Miracle Match Foundation.  This foundation has shade matching formula with medium coverage.  As they say, "seamless" makeup is in so I gave this foundation a test and see if it passes my requirements for next-generation makeup.
  • coverage
  • natural finish
  • blurred effect on skin issues.
  • hydration

AMW says ---

Pros
  • Pump.
  • Comes in 8 shades (locally) so you have a good range of shades to mix and match. (if you are a professional make up artist)
  • Has a matte yet luminous finish thus the effect is indeed very natural to look at.
  • No white cast.
  • Has nice consistency making it easy to apply with any makeup tool.
  • Light to medium coverage.
  • Can cover out certain redness and pigmentation.
  • Non-cakey.
  • Non-drying.
  • Fair amount of oil-control.
  • Does not enhance fine lines and wrinkles
Cons
  • A separate concealer is still needed for heavier coverage.
  • Oil-control may not be enough for users with extremely oily skin.  Need to set with an oil-control powder or use an oil-control primer.
  • Glass packaging so a bit hassle to tote around during travel.  The cap keeps getting separated from the bottle.

Overall
A matte finish liquid foundation with a glow.  This foundation gives medium to light heavy coverage (if applied with more layers).

Tips
from Max Factor
  • Finish your perfect nude look with tone-on-tone hues on lips and cheeks, neutral nail polish and well-groomed brows.
  • Test Miracle Match Foundation against the skin on your jawline to find the perfect shade for you.
  • For the ultimate no-make-up make-up look, always apply face make-up in natural daylight.
  • For a true photo-ready finish, apply to the centre of your face using a soft brush and blend outwards.

from AMW
  • If you want to tote this along with you for travel, purchase a separate plastic container.
  • Best applied with fingers or foundation brush for medium coverage using dabbing motion.
  • For lighter coverage, apply Max FactorX Miracle Match foundation with a damp sponge.
  • Oily skin needs to set with an oil-control powder especially on areas that tend to oil up.
  • Dry skin users may skip setting powder for a dewy look.
  • Shade Natural is perfect for users with neutral tone.  As you can see on my photos below, the effect is a bit pinkish with a hint of yellow.
Will I repurchase?
Yes.

To whom do I recommend this to?
Users who have normal, dry or combination skin.

Where to purchase and how much?
Available at Max Factor counters nationwide priced at Php925.00 (approx $21.00)

Shade: Natural
This shade is a bit cross between a warm and cool tone foundation.  It matches users with warm skintone but I believe they added a bit of the "pink" base for the "glowing" effect.

I like to apply at the center of my face for more coverage and gently blend outward.

Before and After
Can you see the slight transition of a warm foundation to a cooler-toned concealer?
BUT, on the positive note, the pinkish base made my skin looks radiant!

This foundation photographs really well!  No white cast and it gives light to medium coverage.  My undereye bags are lessened!

Other Max FactorX Foundation to try ---
Max FactorX Skin Luminizer Foundation

Will you give Skin Luminizer Foundation a try or going for Miracle Match?
I go for Skin Luminizer if my skin is extremely dry, on normal skin days, I go for Miracle Match.  Both foundations are good!

Stay happy!

    1. I agree, it has a pink tint to it which makes it "brightening" on photo but has a "blushing" effect! Great eye!

  2. Not a fan of this shade on you. It looks grayish. Or maybe it's just my phone?

    1. in person it looks more pinkish than grayish! :) thanks for the feedback, but I believe Natural is really not my color, it has a mix of warm and cool tone (more cool) that's why it made my skin looks a tad bit different :D

  3. You work that color well despite having a yellow-warm undertone! This color will undoubtedly look VERY weird on me. :))
