Pinky Pink Sweet/Vampy Look for the Love Month

It's been a while since I created a makeup photo-torial and truth be told, I missed it!  Thanks to my friends from Benefit Cosmetics Philippines for requesting me to do a Pinky-Pink look perfect for the month of February!  And here's my version... and obviously, my version comes with a crazy face! :P

I have used all the products from the Benefit Fortune, Fame and Fab kit (Php3,300.00) and more!

KIT includes Benefit Total Moisture (sample),
All Full Sized Gimme Brow, Porefessional Balm and Dandelion

To create this look, it is important (especially for me) to hydrate my skin to keep my foundation looking flawless.  I applied a good amount of Benefit Total Moisture all over my skin and let it sit until skin feels less tacky.

It is very important to gently tap the skin, if you feel like there's too much moisture, press a clean tissue paper to absorb excess moisture.

Since I have been suffering from bad skin lately (from lack of sleep and lack of skincare regimen), I need the help of Benefit Porefessional Balm especially on my T-zone and the sides of my nose to lessen the look of flakiness and pores.

I just had my brows done at Benefit Brow Wax so my brows are almost good to go!  I just need to fill some sparse areas with a brow mascara that also "fills in" brows making it look thicker and fuller!  I'm a Gimme Brow shade Light/Medium.

On to the eye makeup.  To make the pink color from the eyeshadow pop, I applied a thin layer of pearl white eye crayon from Glam 21 One Shot Cocktails Eye Crayon in shade Pina Colada.

Picking my newest Sleek I-Divine Palette called Oh So Special, I went for the shade Ribbon which isn't perfectly pink but more of a matte peach with a hint of pink undertone.  I applied this using the flat portion of my brush with dabbing motion.

Picking a medium brown shade from the palette called Wrapped Up, I gently deepen the look of my crease by blending this shade starting from the outer corner of the eyes blending inwards.

Using a pencil brush from Make Up For Ever, I picked the lightest shade called Bow to highlight inner corners of my eyes.

Obviously, whatever shadow I applied on my eyelid, I also apply on my lower lashline, thus, the eyeshadow could look a bit dirty and messy at this point.  My trick is to conceal the undereye area with a foundation stick (less drying as compared to concealer stick) and clean up the mess created on previous steps.

Using Malissa Kiss Liquid Eyeliner in Black, I created a thick flick winged liner.

Curled my lashes and applied coats of mascara.  I used Max Factor Masterpiece Glamour Extensions Mascara in Black.

Applied 2-3 layers of Dandelion Box O' Powder from Benefit, this is a perfect matte pink blush that doesn't make you look "Clownish".   I can apply as many layers I want and the effect will always be natural to look at!  It doesn't hurt that these blushes smell so good!

I applied Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Love Sick.

But of course, if you want to turn up the notch and create a vampier version of this sweet pink look, I changed my lipstick into a plum /berry shade from Mary Kay.

I love how I can stay vampy minus the dry and flaky lips!  I feel like a bad girl from the 90's but can still pull off a nice, innocent girl effect!

  1. I really love how you do your eyeshadows though I think I can't pull this off (I always looks tired and gone crying when I put pink base eyehsadow).
