SILKYGIRL Go Matte LipColor

So I realized I have been talking about lipsticks and sharing swatches of different lipstick colors almost EVERY Monday!  Please don't judge me, you can't blame me when I say: "Wearing lipstick is one of the easiest way to change your look!" 

AGREE?

I know how "Hohum" you feel on Mondays, I feel the same!  Well, I used to feel the same until I get to the point of not having weekend rest so everyday felt like Monday!  *hahaha*  Not complaining here, but definitely speaking about reality when you're a mom!  

So to counter that everyday-Monday-Feel, I jumpstart my day with a good lipcolor to lift my spirits!

All 5 shades featured are from my newest lipcolor from a brand called SILKYGIRL!

I love combining lipstick photos like this because I can immediately spot the shade that works for me!  I have my own bet, what's yours?

Because I'm a Beauty Blogger who does in-depth research on various skincare and makeup products, it is obvious that I came across the brand SILKYGIRL in the past.  SILKYGIRL includes cosmetics, fragrances and hair color products.  SILKYGIRL is marketed at over 5,000 cosmetics counters in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia and Jakarta.  

And now, the brand is available in the Philippines!  And as always, the best way to get to know a new makeup brand (personally speaking) is to try their lipsticks!

For their lips range, they have different ranges from Moisture Rich Lip Color to Moisture Smooth, Moisture Balm, Moisture Rich, Moisture Boost, Go Matte and Matte Fever.

Out of all the ranges, I got to try their Go Matte Range.  Based from research, there are a total of 10 shades to choose from and I got 5!

01 Nearly Nude

Nearly Nude is indeed a true-to-life Nude Lipcolor!  It has peach/salmon base that actually livens up my face as compared to most nude lipsticks that can make me look sick!  

02 Wild Pink

As the name states, it looks wild and super bright pink on tube but the color was toned down a bit when applied on my heavily pigmented lips!  If I wanted to brightness of pink to show up, I may need the help of lip concealer but I'm quite happy with how my lips "warmed up" the color from cool-toned pink to warm!  This is definitely my to-go-to shade when I wanted to appear younger than my age!

03 Siren Red

This red has a bit of a "copper-like" tint!  A bit too orange for my warm skin so I'd rather change my eye makeup using cooler shades to keep myself from turning orange!  This reddish orange shade would work so well on users with medium to dark skin tone!

04 Mystic Rose

A cool-tone baby pink shade that ended up looking almost "nude pink" on my lips!  This is a better version of "nude" if I wanted to wear less makeup and wanted that my-lips-but-better color!

06 Exotic Wine

Now all of you know how much I am into plum or purple colored lipsticks for the past few months!  This definitely got my vote because it has the right amount of color that calls attention but not too much that looks unnatural.  Exotic Wine looks almost magenta on my lips.  It gives a nice sheen at the center making my dry lips look hydrated!

Now let me share my thoughts on my first SILKYGIRL LipColors.  According to SILKYGIRL ---

• They are indeed lightweight, does not chap or feather midday.
• The SILKYGIRL GO Matte LipColor are fragrance-free and stays more than 3 hours with eating and drinking.

Now all you have to do is to pick the right shade to match your skin tone!  My vote goes to Mystic Rose and Exotic Wine.  What's YOUR Vote?
