AMW Wears: Maybelline Rosy Matte by ColorSensational

So NUDES are really in huh?  And I'm talking about Lipsticks! 

Maybelline's powerful lip franchise Color Sensational went crazy over colors early this year!  You don't believe me?  Take a look at my lip swatches on the previous Velvet Matte by ColorSensational line.

As much as I'm very much impressed with bold lip statement, the high pigmentation, creamy matte formulation that glides on lips like a  dream, there are days I just want the "girl-next-door" look.  Thankfully, Maybelline came up with their Rosy Matte by Color Sensational and by far, my favorite line of all!

There are a total of 5 worthy shades to choose from ----
Out of the 5, I immediately got drawn to shade number 3, 4 and 5 (from left).  But a decision cannot be made without wearing them!  And I'll tell you if I made the right choices!

True enough, the last 3 shades are indeed my favorite!  And can I just tell you guys how much I love this collage thing?  I can immediately spot a shade that works for me!

Arm Swatch

L-R Natural Beige, Soft Pink, Rosy Peach, Apricot Beige and Salmon Pink

Natural Beige

Just like any nude lipstick, this is a great color for users who have medium to dark complexion!  For someone like me with fair skin, I need to "turn up" my eyeshadow game to make this lip color work!  Worn alone, it made my skin looks sallow.

Out of the 5 shades, this lip color seems to be the least hydrating!

Soft Pink

Soft Pink is a young-looking shade!  It has a cool-tone pink shade that doesn't make me look too sick (for the first time! yay!)  I like how the formula glides on like a dream!  Definitely a toned-down Barbie Pink lipstick that I can wear.

Rosy Peach

A medium rosy pink shade instead of Peach.  I was expecting this to have a warmer base with a bit of orange tint!  But judging by my arm swatch and how it looks on my lips, this is a medium rose shade anyone can wear!

Apricot Beige

My least favorite shade on swatch but LOVE it so much when worn!  This proves how I cannot judge a lipstick shade on swatch or tube because even a Make Up Artist could be wrong!  I am in love with this shade and how it compliments my complexion!  It made my skin look brighter and healthier even without much make up on!

Salmon Pink

Another favorite pink shade!  I seldom find myself picking a cool-tone pink lip color because I always end up looking darker or worst, SICK to the core!  But thankfully, Salmon Pink is a wonderful pink shade that I can depend on when I want to look youthful at the same time, professional!

Overall, all 5 shades are worthy to own and definitely a wonderful investment since it only costs Php299.00 per tube.  Each lipstick have the same Color Sensational promise --- high pigmentation, lasting power, hydration that works even on the driest and most chapped lips and I love how it never feels tight and dry on lips mid-day!  

I am definitely holding on to all 5 shades (maybe I can give up Natural Beige) but will definitely keep the rest!
