That's how Mikki and I felt when we saw the Artist Rouge Lipsticks all lined up in front of us to play, swatch, mix and match!

The Artist Rouge Lipsticks are housed in metal bullet, inspired by metal palette of makeup artists.  I love how the look is really refreshing and you see the shade right at the bottom of the lipstick!  It also comes with an elegant satiny black cap embossed with the iconic Make Up For Ever lip logo.

They are 2 formulations to choose from --- ARTIST ROUGE CRÈME and ARTIST ROUGE MAT

The ARTIST ROUGE CRÈME boasts 8-hour wear, while ARTIST ROUGE MAT has a notable 10-hour wear.

Both have macadamia and mallow oils to help nourish the lips throughout the day.  But personally, I LOVE the Mat shades but prefers the feel of Creme shades as they are less drying.

Now let's talk about the collaboration between Make Up For Ever and Icona Pop.  They are the Swedish duo formed by Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo.  

Red is for confidence, blue is for exuberance.  The creamy dark blue is Aino's choice while Caroline picked Red.
