I was recently sent a Starmobile PLAY Max 5-inch for review. This phone is hailed one of the most affordable big battery smartphone to date! How affordable? Priced only at Php3,290.00! And what do you get?

The main question is, does this phone fits my lifestyle as an Active Blogger who is almost 24/7 online? To use, is to believe! And I've tested this for a month now and I'm finally ready to spill the beans!
Let's check out the physical attributes of the Starmobile PLAY Max. This phone is indeed a beauty! A type you wouldn't mind bringing out in public because of the gorgeous metal-finish case. Available in shades ---White or Black.
It is lightweight, only around 159 grams making it easy for me to hold (big deal for me as I have small hands!)
As the name states, the MAJOR selling point of this phone, especially for Social Media Maven like myself, is the long battery life!
I can't believe I can constantly use the internet to update my social media stats and didn't bring out my powerbank whatsoever for more than 5 hours.
Other added factor aside from good battery life is the good sound system due to its dual speaker! It has a decent processor and can actually play FULL HD Movies! According to Mr. AMW who also helped me review this phone is that, this comes with decent gaming power which is a PRO for him. And oh, did I mention it has Radio too?
Another not-so-big-for-you but definitely a big deal for me! Upon purchasing Starmobile PLAY Max, you get a pre-installed screen protector (not perfectly attached though in my OC eyes) and comes with a free phone case! YAY!
How I wish the Starmobile PLAY Max has at least 16 gig internal space. Aside from that, the SD Card can only support upto 32 gig which probably won't be enough with my gazillion photos and videos of Kyle Nash!
And adding from Mr. AMW's statement, this phone is not for hard core gamers due to limited space. BUT HEY! For the price and battery life, I can definitely say, this phone is WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!

Perfect for students too well because of the price point and battery life though it would be nicer if they release with a better camera (wish the secondary cam has auto focus too).

ReplyDeleteI need a review about using the internet. May narinig kasi akong mga sabi-sabi na ang starmobile mabagal daw talaga ang data. Na-try ko din kasi gumamit ng starmobile up hd and hindi talaga ako makaconnect sa internet, google play and kahit sa fb app and fb lite! pati yung messenger ayaw kaya naghehesitate na ako bumili ng another starmobile unit. please help me! Sa mga nakagamit na, mabilis ba ipangdata itong unit na toh?
