CoverGirl + Olay Simply Ageless 3-in-1 Liquid Foundation Review

To tell you that CoverGirl + Olay collaboration is new to me will be a lie because I knew about ALL CoverGirl products like the back of my hand for more than a decade now!  I did mentioned in the past that one drugstore brand I really got acquainted with even years before I turned into a blogger was CoverGirl.  Blame my favorite 90s model Niki Taylor for that!  (Niki Taylor is a nineties model together with sister Krissy Taylor are both Cover Girl models, Krissy by the way died in rare heart condition #DamiKongAlam)

But fast forward to today, whenever I see new items from the said brand brought me back to so many good makeup memories!  I remembered saving every single centavo of my "summer work money" and allowances to purchase my favorite Cover Girl item!

Back to reality, as soon as I got the new Cover Girl + Olay Simply Ageless 3-in-1 Liquid Foundation, I gave it a test right away and will share my thoughts on this product which I think is a nice daily liquid foundation especially for those who are in their late 20s and above!

CoverGirl + Olay Simply Ageless 3-in-1 Liquid Foundation Says ---

• Gives natural effect, like I'm not wearing any foundation at all.

Cons

• Coverage may not be enough for those looking for thick and heavy-coverage liquid foundation.
• Will grease-up midday so definitely won't work for users with oily skin.
• For those with extremely dry and parched skin, the "Olay" or hydration from this product is not enough.
• Has a strong floral scent which may bother other users.

Overall
A lightweight liquid foundation with added moisturizer for daily use.  The CoverGirl + Olay Simply Ageless 3-in-1 Liquid Foundation is definitely my to-go-to daily liquid foundation (if I'm aiming to use one!)

Tips

• Set with a translucent oil-control powder to prevent greasy-looking makeup.
• Best used by those with normal and dry skin.
• Gives a good amount of coverage but concealer is needed if you want extra coverage.
• 1-2 pumps are enough for the whole face for light coverage, add another pump or 2 for medium to medium full coverage.
• Use a separate moisturizer if you have extremely dry skin as the skin will tend to "drink up" the moisture from the foundation and will leave dry patches.
• Best used with a sponge for better blending, the sponge also helps absorb extra "moisture" to prevent the greasy look.

The packaging is nothing spectacular, it is a plastic pump-packaging similar as other Cover Girl liquid foundation packaging.  I like that I can easily see the shade.  You can also see the "Twirl of Olay" in white!

A warm light beige shade that works for my skin!

As for application, I like to spread a good amount all over face adding more on areas that needed coverage.  Using a sponge, I blend everything in short, quick dabbing strokes.

Before and After

The effect is extremely natural, it gives a good amount of coverage which can cover redness around my face and lighten up dark undereye circles.

Overall, this is hailed a good daily liquid foundation for me since it gives natural and even coverage!  The feel is extremely good because it's lightweight and I don't feel like I'm wearing any makeup at all!
