CLIO Kill Cover Pro Pot Concealer Review

CLIO, since its' arrival in our shores, got the name of "Bad A**" concealer brand from...well, Beauty Bloggers and me!

Check out my review on CLIO Kill Cover Conceal-dation!  This is one of those concealer that was highly recommended by the SA for my skin type but I still picked this one because of raves although I was advised by SA that this works better for normal or oily skin users!

Thick texture with a yellowish tone delivers powerful concealing benefits; waterproof and sweat-proof formula provides all-day lasting power; effortlessly covers pigmentation, visible pores, and fine lines; lets you create velvety-soft flawless skin.

The product is housed in a super small circular pot just like that of a MAC single eyeshadow packaging!  For that tiny packaged product, I thought I'll use this up in less than a month or so because of my history in "killing" all the concealers as fast as I can!

Got the shade Ginger because it has a warm peach tone to it which I think would be a perfect undereye corrector.

Judging by a small swatch I did, a little goes a long way!  The product is highly pigmented, intensely-pigmented if I may have to add!

As for application I find the best way to apply is by using your own clean fingertip!  The product is extremely creamy so the warmth of the finger will help "melt" the concealer and create a more flawless finish!

Though there could be a chance of leaving demarcation marks like fingerprint, I like to clean up the marks with a sponge to "set".

Here's what you should know if you purchase CLIO Kill Cover Pro Pot Concealer ---

  • It is housed in a super small pot so you'll feel like the product is very expensive for the amount you get.  BUT...
  • It is highly pigmented so a little, a super small amount would be enough to cover a spot or flaw.
  • Very creamy, warmth of your hands or fingers are needed to make the product more emollient.
  • Will crease if you have dry skin!  Make sure to prep your skin or eye area really well!
  • Tip: Mix the product with your favorite hydrating eye cream to prevent creasing.
  • Stays, stays the whole day until make up removal even without setting.
  • Sets matte.  If you have oily skin, better to set with translucent powder but again you have to be careful as this product dries out the skin!
Another great concealing product from the KILL CLIO line, but obviously, the Conceal-dation works best for my skin type as recommended by SA.  If you have oily skin and want something that does not budge, you can look into this!  Make sure to purchase the right shade as a wrong shade will get too obvious and worst, may enhance your flaws instead of hiding it!

Have you tried any product from the KILL CLIO line?
