So I have the Pink Sugar Velvet Matte Lipsticks for quite sometime, been using them a lot and thought I've written a review about them but, after searching MY OWN Blog, I was shocked how I missed talking about these!
It has always been Sugar Tints for me when it comes to Pink Sugar, but, for some reason, I've found a nice Matte Lipstick that is similar to Sugar Tints --- not as highlight pigmented but similarly good for users with dry lips!
I got 5 newest shades for the year and they all look gorgeous! Do you already have a favorite?
Housed in a black packaging with peek-a-poo plastic at the center, you can actually see the shade right away without opening the cap! Similar to SNOE Lipstick packaging, you have to make sure to hear a "CLICK" after every use to make sure the lipstick won't roll up on its own inside your bag and ruin the lipstick! ---> this happened to me so many times!

I separated these lippies into "Natural-looking, daytime wear". 3 of them fits the bill!
Then if you wanted something that gives more statement, you may look into these 2 shades!
Don't get me wrong, ALL of them can be worn day and night, I like it that these lippies have velvety-finish which is an answer to users with dry lips!

AMW Wears Birthday Suit
Just as the name says, Birthday Suit falls under Nude Lipstick category or in some cases, can be an MLBB shade for users with lightly pigment lips. This is surprisingly a "PEIGE" shade --- my own invention! A Peach Beige shade that works for most skintones
AMW wears Iconic
Iconic is a warm-tone brownish pink that is quite pretty even for fair-skinned girls! I know it is difficult for fair-skinned girls to work a light pink lipstick but the added "Brown" is a nice touch for MLBB shade!
AMW Wears Gossip Girl
Gossip Girl is a light to medium pink lip color. It has cool undertone but I am surprised how it doesn't make me look pale or sick!
AMW Wears DeJa Vu
As much as Deja Vu is a gorgeous shade, I find myself calling this my least favorite (PERSONAL OPINON) because of the extra "sheen", screaming 90's berry pink! Nothing bad for 90's Berry Pink and I love you MOM! But this is definitely a shade my mom would wear EVERY SINGLE DAY OF HER LIFE (kaya nagsawa na ako) that's why I am giving it up to her! Love you momma!
AMW wears Senorita
Senorita is a nice deep wine red shade! I love how this can instantly give you a statement! Strong and confident -- we go girl!
Overall, I love how they aren't extremely SOFT on lips --- okay, that may sound contradicting but these lipsticks actually feels like CLAY when they stay on your lips, they aren't hard but they have this texture that you know will last long because they cling onto your lips without making it dry! It's comfortable, smooth and I love how they stay even after eating and drinking.
Re-application is needed maybe after 4-5 hours but I love all the shades and I can't wait to see them launch more shades soon!
