If you ask me, I will categorize SilkyGirl as a brand you can look into if you are just starting out on makeup! They have good basic makeup line from SilkyGirl Magic BB All-in-One Powder Foundation to lip products that I really love - SilkyGirl Matte Junkie Lip Creams.
They are inexpensive yet they deliver. But who would've thought they would up their game for the year 2018?

I picked 03 Medium as the perfect shade for me because of the warm undertone. Based from swatch, it is called a liquid foundation but it isn't totally wet (which I like).
The foundation comes in 4 shades (01 Light, 02 Natural, 03 Medium and 04 Tan). That is enough to cover most of the Filipinas' skin tone so great job Silkygirl!

This product is housed in a squeeze type packaging making is super easy for me to dispense the right amount of product. I also use this as a concealer on days I don't like to wear much makeup!
As for texture, it is smooth and easy-to-apply. You can use your fingers, brush or even sponge in application and the effect will always be natural (as long as you picked the right shade!)
Even with SPF30, this does not give off a white cast, it feels light on skin and does not have any greasy-feel.
Before and After
The product can hide undereye circles, redness on the sides of the nose and even zits or pimple marks! The coverage is light to medium and is definitely buildable.
Overall, this product is a great product to try especially if you are just starting out on makeup because of the lightweight feel and texture. It does not enhance my dry patches and thankfully, my skin looks healthy and glowing all day long.
Of course, for oily areas around the face, you will need to use an oil-blotter then set with oil-control powder. It stays for the whole day with needed retouch on the sides of the nose, chin and T-zone as needed.
I am also happy to announce that the product did not cause any skin irritations or allergic reactions because it is fragrance-free!
