Benefit's Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer Review

Concealer > Foundation for me for the past years.  Especially when Kyle started out elementary adding going to my gym in my already busy schedule, putting on makeup like 10 years ago is non-existent!  I find myself relying on concealers and powders more and more than usual.

When Benefit launched their newest concealer late last year called Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer, I knew I had to get my hands on them because I have been loving their old Boi-ing Concealers!

I should know, I was there during the launch, and I've done in-depth reviews on Benefit Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer, Benefit Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer, and I was so intrigued with this new product I've done an initial thoughts on #AMWIGtv right away!

I'm not bluffing when I say, initial thoughts will never be permanent, after giving it a couple of uses, I am finally ready to finalize my thoughts with a legit blog post like this one --- immortalizing my words to be exact!  #lol

The packaging, I have nothing more to say but praises!  I've always been a fan of lipgloss tube type of packaging with doe-foot applicator for the undereye area.  In this case, the applicator is bigger than most doe-foot applicators you see on lipgloss or other concealers.  This size is in between regular doe-foot applicator and the applicator from L'Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer.

As not to confuse you with more products and brands, I won't get into details about the difference between the 2, well, I may since I started talking about it!  (yes, I'm a woman!  I changed my mind quite easily like how I would change concealeres!)

Swatch: No. 4
What I love about Benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealers is how they have wide array of shades to cover fair, medium and dark complexion.  I also appreciate that they target different tones in mind!  Shade no. 4 may seem to be a wrong shade for me since this looks more cool tone than warm.  But there's a beauty to this unique shade, it does not only cover my undereye circle, it brightens the area!

I am nodding when they say a little goes a long way and a layer is honestly enough to cover what needs to be covered!  And here's the comparison between L'Oreal Infallible with this one (just in case you are interested), everyone loves L'Oreal Infallible, I would too!  But for someone with extremely dry undereye area, I think L'Oreal Infallible would work best for users with combination/oily skin (which most Filipinas have).  I for once enjoy the Benefit's version more because it does set extremely matte and won't budge until makeup removal, what I appreciate about this concealer is the extra time it gives me to blend the product well before it completely sets as opposed to L'Oreal.

Before and After
I love how it can cover and even out my undereye area making it appear brighter-looking.  I looked like I'm well rested whenever I use this concealer but, you have to make sure to hydrate your undereye circles properly before you apply Benefit's Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer if you have lines around the area as it may settle into dry lines (as to any concealers out there!)

And here's an added bonus, since it brightens the area, I find myself using on my eyelid as an eyeshadow primer if I wanted my shadow to pop!  This won't crease the eyeshadow as long as I dust a few amount of oil-control powder on the lid before I apply eyeshadow.

Will I repurchase or recommend this product?  YES!
It is pricey and there are probably similar products out there that works almost the same.  The strength of the Benefit Boi-Ing Cakeless Concealer is how it gives me enough time to set the product and it does not dry out my dry skin!  It does not irritate my skin even close to the eye area and it doubles up as an eyeshadow primer which is a huge plus!

And if you picked the right shade, you may also use this to spot conceal because it works in STAYING PUT, meaning, the concealer won't move or budge the whole day  making this a nice concealer to cover acne marks and spots as well!

If that's not multi-taksing, I don't know how you'd call it!
