Lifestrong Hairfix Review + Different Functions

I've talked about Hairfix products briefly as part of my favorites start of the year.  I specifically remembered mentioning it a couple of times because I was amazed how effective the product was in a single use and how inexpensive it was!  It was specifically a Fuchsia packaging called Keratin Straight and indeed, my hair was smooth and straighter than it normally was.

And since I can't go out for a salon session, I am so happy to receive these as gifts over quarantine period!  Who would've thought there were so many variants?  I only knew 1-2 but didn't know the brand expanded to more ranges based from the hair needs of each individual.

I don't know about you but I have a kick whenever I see "Keratin" in a haircare product.  Keratin is a name for a protein found naturally in hair strands and using haircare products that has that will strengthen hair and keep hair smooth and shiny.

1 pack comes with a shampoo, a conditioner and a treatment.  You get 2x25ml of product each bag making it "sulit".  You can even use it 3-4 times if you have shorter hair.  As for me, I use all 25ml glory because I have long and thick hair!  The shampoo itself is non-drying and I don't have the need to pull my hair inside the shower.  My favorite part is the Conditioner, it acts like a treatment so I am saving up the treatment to be used once or twice a week depending on how damaged my hair is!

I usually use my own shower cap whenever I use hair conditioner or treatment.  I am happy Hairfix came up with this type of hair mask.  The similar one I used is a brand from Korea called Leaders Insolution and they are not available in the Philippines anymore so I am happy to have found an alternative.

All you need to do is use this after shampooing, pull out the hair mask and adjust the tightness of the mask and seal the adhesive.  The treatment is supposed to last from 15-20 minutes but I like to finish up with shower and leave the bathroom and do my usual home activities with the shower cap.  The excess heat coming from the scalp and the hot summer days of the Philippines made this the perfect "hot oil" treatment that I don't need to pay thousands for!  This is seriously worth purchasing and trying!

This doesn't have that "straight hair" effect but my hair definitely looks less frizzy.  This is the type of treatment you can pick if you like to maintain the natural "bounce" and waves of your hair minus the dry ends, frizz and tangle.

The price is worth it for 2 treatments!  I use this 2x a week leaving it with a shower cap approximately 5-10 minutes.
