My brother, who is an architect in China wants to stay updated with residences offered here in the Philippines! I’ve said it a couple of times in my blog about our journey around the Metro looking for a nice place to be called Home and a place for investment! With a top-notcher Architect Brother on my side (Top20 in the Philippines) whenever we do some oculars, I get some ideas on what to watch out for.

Since RLC Residences was officially launched to the public, I already put this on our list-to-visit when my brother comes home for a visit after the pandemic!

If you want to know some tips on finding the right Real Estate agent, applicable for anyone across the world!

1. Always get referrals from friends and family.

I personally think this is the most important thing when it comes to looking for the right Real Estate Agent, someone with a positive experience just like my Aunt from Canada who went for St. Albert Real Estate and I heard nothing but positive results so I shared the contact to my other friends who live in the same area.

2. Do ample research.

Even with referrals, I still make sure to do reserach on the background of the referred agent especially in their experiences in selling within the area.

3. Request references.

Researching may not be enough, ask for references from the target Real Estate agent and prepare a list of questions/interview questions to check the background.

4. Check commission and other hidden fees.

Hidden fees are a huge no-nos especially with a budget in mind! Always be honest and have everything written down on paper for safety.
