Huda Beauty Blur Bake Snatch Look

 

I am a fan of Huda Kattan and I am one of those who got excited when she launched her make up line!

"I NEED to get this!"  Need is an understatement but you all know that by now!  I got myself her eyeshadow palettes and did a Love Month Look with it exactly 2 years ago and even did a Sand Haze Look (name of her palette) inspired look as I love the shades of her eyeshadow palette.

Early this year, I was invited to HudaBeauty Blur, Bake and Snatch event at Look at Me SM Aura and I had to free up my schedule to be there.

Let us start my review with the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Luminous Matte Foundation in shade Apple Pie.  Disclaimer, Apple Pie foundation was given to me during the event and this isn't my exact shade when I did a swatch with their in-house makeup artist.  Thankfully, the shade is "workable" and it actually worked much better to create a snatched look.

I kid you not when I say this is the best FULL Face Foundation I have tried since pandemic hits!  When I am looking for a full-coverage, camera-ready foundation, I always reach out to Make Up For Ever's HD Foundation.

You don't believe me when I say this is the best?  Check out this UNFILTERED half-face photo of me using nothing but Huda beauty's Foundation half of my face (Left facing you).  Mind you, it only took me a single pump!

Closer photo.  My friend even DM'd me after seeing this photo thinking I had a huge black eye on my other eye.  I mean they seriously didn't think I even had foundation on!  It looked so natural on photos but let me tell you how it looks in person.

Apple Pie is not my shade so it is actually a bit darker in person.  Thankfully, the Concealer that came with the press kit is too light on me so it worked so well as a highlight/contour product.

The Huda Beauty Faux Filter Luminous Matte Foundation gives 100% full coverage as stated in product description and it works like a dream (even on drier skinned gals!).  I applied this product with a damp Beauty Blender sponge (best way to apply according to the Make Up Artist during the launch) and I couldn't agree more.

The effect is natural, seamless and it can also work as a concealer.  Just look how it covered my dark undereye area brightening it up at the same time.

Now let's add up to the Snatched look using the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Luminous Matte Concealer in shade HONEY.

I wish I get the right concealer shade next to properly test this out as a concealer but in this review, I will be testing this as a highlighter and a product used to create a Snatched face as Huda is known for.

I mean just look at this photo?  The foundation Apple Pie now looked like a natural contour shade with the Honey shade on top!  It blends so well and looks so good especially on photos.

The coverage of the Concealer is so good I felt excited to go back to grab a nice concealer.  Truth be told, the foundation coverage is so good I can actually skip concealer at this point.

And finally, to set everything in place since I live in the Philippines!  I used the Huda Beauty Easy Bake and Snatch Brightening and Setting Powder.

Can I just say OMG on how it evens out my face minus the shine?

I left areas on my face that I wanted the glow and just applied powder on the concealer area!  Look at the result!

Seamless, poreless, and best of all, it does not enhance dry lines around my face!

The shade I got is a nice baby pink shade that is best used to highlight the skin.  After using this and did all chores all day until nighttime, this lived up to the "stays up to 8 hours" claim!
