WaterWipes is now in the Philippines!

 

There are so many baby wipes brand locally and to be honest, I still have a lot of stocks not because my son is still a baby but because I use them more in my swatch videos, in-between makeup removal during video shoots.

Because I have very sensitive skin, I usually buy baby wipes instead of makeup wipes.  And when I heard the Purest Baby Wipes landed in our country, I knew I have to give these a try - for both me and my son.

WaterWipes were created out of founder Edward McCloskey's love and care for his newborn daughter.  Edward couldn' find a baby wipes brand that didn't use chemical and other harsh ingredients and nothing was safe enough for his daugther's sensitive skin.  That's why he decided to create his own brand instead.  After years of scientific research, testing and hard work, Water Wipes came to be.

We all know that a product created out of a parent's love is the ultimate.  If the creator used these products for his own child, you'll know he made sure it is the safest in the market making me feel ore confident to use these for my own son as well!@

WaterWipes are onlyl made up to 99.9% water and a drop of fruit extract.  I personally think people should NEVER think of wipes as a disinfectant but more of a cleansing CLOTH.  I've seen parents wipe their child's bum after doing number 2 without washing which I think is wrong.  These are wipes, these contain water and hydrating ingredients but it DOES NOT kill bacteria and germs. (That's my 2 cents and I feel strongly about this!)

We are done with our first pack and all I have to say is that, these wipes are made very sensitive for our sensitive skin but tough and strong to wipe multiple types without cloth breakage.  I've used these as makeup remover and thankfully, I was able to swatch gazillion of lipsticks without the pain or chemical-taste.  There's no residue behind which I truly appreciate.

That said, I am more confident having my son grab his own WaterWipes as he happily wipes off his books, toys and hands!  At times, he would use this to freshen up (in which I would usually scream out of disapproval) but with WaterWipes, I let him be!

Cetaphil Baby Products Review

I don't have a baby anymore but I still use baby products for ONE reason ---

My son may be 5 years old but his skin is still a baby!  He got my super sensitive, dry skin and using the wrong products will cause him to itch the whole day!

I have used a number of Baby Care products, I've tested a couple but one brand that was stuck in my head was Cetaphil Baby.  Why?  I'll tell you why when you scroll further down!

Kyle is a great reader, he reads ALL the product names and even product description whenever I introduce him to new bath care products.  Ever since I used Cetaphil Baby products on him, he has been requesting this brand out of all the brands available inside the bathroom for a couple of reasons --- he likes the scent and he likes how moisturizing it feels on him after every bath.

Baby Dove is Here!

Baby Dove is here in the Philippines!  I wished they arrived earlier (around 4.5 years earlier), I remembered scouring the whole baby section of a supermarket and even go to Baby Fairs just to check out brands made specifically for babies --- there wasn't a lot of choices back then and I'm sure a lot of you who have bigger kids can relate to that!

I've used a LOT!  A whole lot!  There were a couple of misses where I've seen my then baby broke into rashes!  Baby oils that are said to be meant for sensitive skin actually burned his skin!  

Did I felt bad?  YES!  Super bad!

But thankfully, I have a very supportive husband and understanding family who gave me a pat on the back and consoled me on how motherhood is really all about trial and errors!  There is no perfect handbook that would give all the right answers on how to be a perfect mom! 

Because there's NONE.  And I am perfectly fine to do all the testing myself because I enjoyed the process (not all!)  but there are a couple of instances were I felt super proud of myself!

So seeing the arrival of Baby Dove actually brought me back to so much first-time motherhood memories!  With a lot of newbie moms messaging me after seeing my IG post on these products, I am so happy to be able to share a bit of my experience and knowledge as REAL as it gets! #RealMoms

When this huge basket landed at my doorstep, it made me smile after a tedious 2 weeks!  If you follow me on #AMWIgStories you'll understand why I'm exhausted, a bit down and just don't have enough time on my hands anymore!  

But God is always good, I always get mini surprises like these (well, in this case, it is a HUGE basket of surprise).  This puts a huge SMILE on my face because it seems just like yesterday when Mr. AMW and I were shopping for newborn baby products!  Don't get me wrong, I don't have a baby anymore!  Kyle is a bouncing 4-year old boy ready for school!  But that doesn't mean we can't baby him with natural baby care products right?

Tiny Buds as a baby care brand isn't a stranger to me, I have used Tiny Buds products on Kyle for several occasions, my favorite will always be the Tiny Fangs Kiddie Toothpaste (Used both Stage 1 and Stage 2) and have purchased and repurchased so many times I scoured different Watsons branches just to stock up on this particular item.

Now looking at other products the brand offer made me giddy because I knew fellow mommies like myself have more "safe and gentle" options for our little angels.
