NEW! Piattos Supersized Chips

Guys!  The whole lockdown, I have been stuffing my face with CHIPS!  I am serious when I have a whole  big box of “ALL CHIPS” and snack (3 boxes TBH).

People would think I buy chips for my son, he does eat chips but he eats only a few!  We, as parents are actually big on chips!  After our son goes to bed, our tired selves would enjoy movie night, Korean Variety Shows binge-watching or wathever we do from 12mn onwards with chips on hand!  Ahhhh, don’t judge me, that is why I still have this happy face amidst being locked at home for a year and a half.

We usually open up a bag of chips and share, even with Kyle sleeping, we always keep a portion for him because we want him to be included with whatever we eat!  Unfortunately, with the previous packaging of Piattos, we always end up….well..sorry Kyle, finishing up a bag without leaving some for Kyle!  Kulang naman kasi talaga!  So hearing about the Supersized Piattos version is a great news!

Available in 2 flavors for now - Sour Cream and Onion and Cheese.  I wish they would also supersize their other flavors like Roast Beef!  Don’t worry Piattos, I will be waiting patiently!

Welcome Inkigayo Sandwich! #IdolSandwich

They say sandwiches are the best snacks in the world.

OO NAMAN.

I treat them not only as snacks but sometimes as my breakfast, lunch and dinner!  On days I go from one event/meetings to another stuck in between traffic, having a sandwich inside my car is a must as I master the art of biting in between red light!

So when I heard about the buzz about Inkigayo Sandwiches (by which I already knew about them by watching a lot of food reviews on Youtube).  I told myself I had to see what the buzz is all about since a lot of KPOP idols are talking about them on their social media accounts!

The SBS Inkigayo Sandwich gained its popularity to KPOP fans because many KPOP artists shared their story about discovering the sandwich in between music show called "Inkigayo" (that is where Inkigayo sandwich name came about!)

And there's a cute story behind it on how people inside the building would remove one side of the plastic and slip their phone number to give it to other KPOP idols and staffs (talk about smooth operator moves!)

Now think about it, if you are a KPOP fan, what is the closest thing you can do to be "close" to your idols?  Eat what they love to eat!  And I am not surprised how during the launch, I saw a lot of KPOP fans lining up to try this famous Inkigayo Sandwich!

Snack Time Alert! Love At First Crunch

Whenever we go to a mall, supermarket is definitely part of the itinerary not because we love spending money on groceries but because Kyle Nash considers the "supermarket" as his "Toy Store".  One of our favorite supermarket is at Lucky Chinatown called Metro, I actually enjoy walking through their aisles of snacks from different countries --- Japan, Thailand, South Korea, China, Taiwan, etc...

And I found something new at the "snacks aisle".

Kangaroo Nuts!

We love stocking for snacks, especially since I wait for Kyle in preschool for 3 hours daily so snacking really is part of the routine!  With the addition of my favorite cup of coffee, my day will be made!  But I have to be careful with the snacks I choose, they have to be healthy, because I AM NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER!
