Guerlain Météorites Heart Shape Palette Review

Every time you mention the brand Guerlain, the next name that would come next to the brand will always be --- Meteorites.

As much as they are so nice to look at, it is such a tedious task to tote it around because of the bulky packaging PLUS the balls may just scatter inside your bag making it a bag mess!  So my Guerlain Meteorites stay on top of my dresser table for a year now!

Thankfully, after so many years, under the Spring 2018 collection, Guerlain finally came up with a "pressed" version of my favorite luminizer!  And to make it even cuter, this product is inspired by the V-shape face which our Asian Counterparts love (the Koreans).

I obviously do not have a V-shape face (it's rounder than round my friends!)  But I enjoyed using this product nevertheless.

A Very Subtle Highlighting Powder

Strobing is super "in" since last year!  But as much as we love the "strobing effect" on photos, it looks really unnatural (and to some...oily) in person!  So the Queen of Natural-looking makeup (Yes, I hailed myself that! #walangkokontra) is on the lookout for the most natural highlighting product.  And I may have found one!

The shade says C01 Strobing Surpreme but I am reading it as Strobing SUPREME.  Could be a spelling mistake but it doesn't matter to me.

This is a LIMITED Edition product so if you can still find them at SM Beauty Stores, grab them before it's too late!

I Perfected My Strobing Skills with NYX

I highlight and contour subtly on a daily basis, that's how I make my skin looks more healthy and radiant because I have naturally sallow (a.k.a. boring) skin.  I have roadtested so many contour and highlight products I knew which particular ones would give me the very natural and subtle effect while other products/brands can give me more drama.

But I wasn't ready for this particular "strobing" technique that I got after using the palette from NYX called NYX Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette.  All I can say is that --- it is indeed a "genius" in the strobing department.

To those who are "used to" my usual "Product review photos", you can definitely see a major change in this!

For goodness' sake, I don't even have any eye makeup on in this particular photo (only brows), but I love the way my skin looks, so healthy, so glowing, so 3D!
