Style Series: Fashionable Mom

 

Hi AMW Friends!

It is yet another fashion post once again!  And aside from that, I want to update you guys that I colored my hair.  Well, not me, my husband colored my hair using L'Oreal Paris Excellence Cream Triple Care hair Color in 5.15 Frosted Light.

I don't know why this is even called Frosted Light as it came out dark on me but I guess my previous hair color was a bit too light that's why this turned out differently.  But I am not complaining, this product DOES cover gray hair!

Now back to my Style Photo.  This was my outfit during my son's Trick or Treat activity.  The top is my favorite because I can bend and run and walk around without having to worry about anything yet the texture of the clothing is comfortable enough for me to move.

As for my pants, well, I live in a tropical country, this peek-a-boo pants was supposed to be worn on a pool or beach trip but since we are staying in most days, I may as well wear it as much as I can!

Style Series: Little Blue Dress + Personal Thoughts

 

When quarantine kicked in early this year, I was at a lost but I need to feel better about myself after months and months of wearing huge T-shirt and shorts!  I knew I had to dress up, apply makeup and do my hair at one time just to feel good.

This photo was taken for the record, the time I was smiling on the outside but dead worried on the inside.  

I lost a couple of jobs and my son was crying random days because he misses his family, the mall and random short trips to Tagaytay.

Looking back, I am glad I continued with Blog and Social Media.  A lot would probably say: "Just stop it!" "You are so insensitive for posting superficial content."

Thankfully, it was all in my head, nobody judged my postings but instead, I got to speak and meet more people online.  Fellow moms, fellow workers, fellow daughters who are going through this hardship the same way I did!  

I am here to say, I am glad I stayed true to who I am and never strayed.

TO YOU who are still here visiting and reading this, THANK YOU.  I am seriously grateful to have confidant in you guys.  The fact that there are still people reading my grammatically challenged posts (as I never reread, I just pour my heart out and click PUBLISH).  Thank you for being kind to me.  Thank you for being nice.  And most of all?  Thanks for fighting as well, we are all fighters and are survivors!

Style Series: Work From Home Li'l White Dress

 

Prior to lockdown, I have a couple of new outfit/dresses inside my closet that I was saving up for special events or hosting gigs.  

Obviously, I have been staying at home for 5 full months (and still counting) so I am not sure when I will be able to enjoy this cute white Long-Sleeved Shirt Dress that I bought at Zalora.

I like it because it looked like a regular long-sleeved dress on the upper part while it suddenly gave off a girly vibe at the bottom with the layered skirt!  

I would say this dress is comfortable enough to be worn as business attire and party dress, with just a few change in accessories, hairstyle and shoes!
