Weekend Food Trip at: Yoree Korean Dining

One of my favorite Korean restaurant is located quite far from where I live, well, not exactly far, but considering traffic situation, it takes minimum 1.5 hours to get there!  So when Mr. AMW and I had the chance to "date" on a weeknight with Kyle, I took the opportunity to take them to Yoree Korean Dining.  Because I've dined in this restaurant so many times, all thanks to AGC for celebrating 3 years of Christmas parties in this particular restaurant so I can proudly say, I've tried almost 90% of their menu and all of the dishes received 2 thumbs up from me!  And I'm a picky Korean dish eater guys!  So that is POSITIVE enough!

Just like any Korean Restaurant, you will be greeted with appetizers as you wait for your order.  The congee is TDF (To die for!).

Gyeran Mari
Php248.00
Rolled omelette stuffed with melted cheddar cheese topped with bonito flakes.

Mr. AMW is a fan of anything made with "eggs".  Since this is quite new to me as well, we've decided to give this a try and it was a lovely surprise!  The bonito flakes add up to the unique taste of cheddar cheese.  I didn't know they would work well together, but with this dish, it was proven to be a successful partnership :)

AGC Christmas Party 2015

When I mention the brands - Etude House, Tony Moly, Leaders Insolution and soon Boulangerie 22 - that makes AGC!  AGC gave a wonderful thanksgiving dinner party for Bloggers and Media friends early last December 2, 2015.

We were greeted with a lovely "Samples Buffet Spread" and can't help but use the tag #BestChristmasParty ever! Because it will always be the best with fellow beauty bloggers around and with the brands we love to support!

I was an early (lucky me) so I was able to really take time and enjoy the activities prepared by the company for us!  I spy a gorgeous pink Locker Room!

The Beauty Rush with Etude House, Tony Moly and Leaders Insolution

How does it feel like to attend a Beauty Rush event (a.k.a. Amazing Race minus the running?)
Well, count me in!  And what makes me even happier?  To attend an event at Lucky Chinatown Mall!

Firstly, the mall is one of my favorite because you get everything there -- food, toys, clothes, tech products etc...
And secondly, the mall is 20 minutes away (with Moderate traffic)!

That's why I had a huge grin there with my partners #TeamTiara

I was invited by the good folks from AGC and the hosts Marj Sia and Nicole Romero.  The fun Beauty Rush started at Yoree Korean  BBQ Dining for lunch but as much as I LOVE Korean Food and wouldn't want to miss this!  I declined because Lucky Chinatown is so near to me and I had to look after my son in the morning so yeah, tummy aside --- son first!  Heard from the girls how yummy the food were!  Ugh...next time!

Weekend Food Trip at: Yoree Korean BBQ Dining for AGC Christmas Party

I'm not the type who would use Social Media when I'm on the road.  But recently, I have a LOT of time to do so, take selfies, take photos of my surroundings, because I just have SO MUCH time on hand because of the crazy traffic!  #BerMonths #ManilaTraffic

When I got an invite to attend AGC's Christmas Party, the company who brought in Tony Moly, Etude House and Tous Le Jours, aside from the fact that I love all 3 brands was the venue!  If you know me pretty well, you'll know that this Chinese girl loves Korean food!  I have dined at Korean Village so many times I think the number of visits exceed my age!  :P

So yeah, a new Korean restaurant to try?  Why not brave Manila traffic all over again?

Mind you..it was exactly 2.5 hours driving (ONE WAY!)

Yoree Korean BBQ Dining by the way, is located at the Forum, Bonifacio Global City.  I parked at The Fort Strip (thanks Rowena for the tip) and I waked a couple of blocks to the restaurant.

Can you imagine how famished I was?  I can literally eat a whole cow!  Or even grass along BGC! :P

So yeah, my tummy welcomed the 10 course meal prepared by AGC!  And before I talk about the restaurant and food, can I share a bit of background?

I have never been to an Etude House, Tony Moly or Tous Le Jours event, every time I got an invite, it was always a bad timing (on my part) because I always have something scheduled to do or I was out of the country, or probably just given birth!  So yeah, right timing to attend a company Christmas Party when I haven't even met anyone of them before right?

Awkward you may say but guess what?  I fit right in!  The staffs at AGC are super wonderful! And let's not forget, I also had wonderful table mates!  Fellow Beauty Bloggers, unite! :P

Now let's talk about the food...I was immediately served with appetizers.  Still a Kimchi girl!

Then the waiter with personality came over to serve us, Wagyu Beef!  We were all in heaven!
