the SAEM Cover Perfection Pot Concealer Review

I bought a couple of the SAEM items on Althea way before they arrived our shores!  One of the product I love from the brand (which I repurchased so many times) is the SAEM Perfection Tip Concealer. 

Because I get impressed "by brand", I tend to go back and purchase more items from the brand and see if they earn another thumbs up from me!

The Saem's Cover Perfection Pot Concealer is a balm type concealer that gives full coverage for even the peskiest of spots and keeps them hidden all day long thanks to its long-wearing formula. It'll keep those blemishes under wraps until you're ready to take your makeup off at the end of the day.

Weekend Food Trip at: Maki Place

Before I talk about Maki Place, I want to thank The SAEM Philippines for sending me a lovely Chinese New Year gift!  They never fail to give LOVE, Wealth and Happiness to the TIU household!  Than you!

Now back to food, the past few weeks was crazy!  Kyle visited his Pedia twice before Chinese New Years!  I am so happy I've found a doctor that Kyle is very comfortable with, most of all, she can make Toy Balloon animals that's why Kyle calls her the Balloon Doctor!

Best of all, she opens even at night so Keith can accompany us!  Twice that we've seen the doctor, we also had our dinner outside and it was "pampalubag look" to eat yummy food after a stressful day!  One restaurant that we enjoyed going to is Maki Place.

Located at Benavides Street Binondo, it is located at a crowded street so it is advisable to eat during off-peak hours!  They close around 9:00pm by the way!  

Though the dishes didn't come off exactly the same as last time, I wish they could be more consistent, here are some of our favorite orders - of course you have to order MAKI but I didn't get to take a photo of it as Mr. AMW already ate it :P

Pork Spareribs, Goyong, Fried Rice and any Noodle dish!  They are yummy!

the SAEM Skincare - A First For Me

The SAEM is finally here in the Philippines and I was lucky enough to be part of their Grand Launch at SM AURA a couple of weeks ago.

The place was packed and as much as I would love to look into makeup products, I am more into skincare now so I went ahead and looked into their skincare range which is HUGE by the way!  They have basics, for oily skin, dry skin, combination skin and even anti-aging products.

Now let's start with the basic ---  Facial Wash

The SAEM Urban Eco Waratah Foam Cleanser

I can't find a detailed information about this product or product description as it isn't even on the SAEM Global website.  When it comes to new brands and new skincare, I always start by testing out their Cleansers because it is the easiest way for me to see if such range works for me or not.  Thankfully, this works just like most of my Foam Cleansers, it is gentle, removes excess oil, dirt without drying out my skin!  I love the light scent and I love how I don't have any negative skin reactions after using this!

I can't vouch on anything drastic for now but I'm happy with this product.

Concealing for a very busy mom like me --- IS LIFE!

I used to laugh at my sister for using too much concealer and finishing up tubes after tubes.  Then I turned into a mom myself, I now understand where she is coming from.

Gone are the days I can literally wake up and just apply press powder all over face and leave the house!  Hindi na talaga possible! 

But thankfully, with the great concealing technology from various makeup brands, I can have 3-4 hours of sleep and have people tell me: "Ang fresh mo!" (You Look Fresh!)

Aaminin ko na, it is really just the power of CONCEALING!  (and smiling!)

My favorite type of undereye concealer will always be the liquid type, the ones housed in a tube with doe-foot applicator because I find them very easy to work with.  I also like the consistency on how I can easily blend them without looking like I have loads of makeup on.  

Thankfully, there are more brands coming up with this type of concealer that gives enough coverage!  1-2 layers are enough!
