I Love Bling Blings!

People who knew me knows I am always on a lookout for wonderful yet affordable ANYTHING!
No matter how much I love to prettify the world ("world" meaning myself) LOL
I wouldn't spend a lot just for myself!

I started a relationship with "bling bling" hair accesories 4years ago.
I was in China and "bling bling" pieces are quite cheap in China.
But of course, I can't afford to buy a roundtrip ticket to China just to save up for hair accessories right? <--- I have thought about this idea though

Hubby wasn't able to pick me up on time last night, what a girl to do???
NOT SHOP you silly!
Window shop! :P

Everyone who knows how to window shop knows how to shop!
But your "crazy" askmewhats know when and where to spend my moolah!
And I only spend ..when I see a big sign from above...
A big sign that says...

SALE!

L- original price Php250.00 (approx $6.00) NOW Php125.00 ($3.00)
R- original Price Php200.00 (approx $4.50)

It doesn't look so cute when it's just laying there flat on the carton right?
What's my head and hair for?
Of course! To model for you reader!

I don't know about you,
but i'm starting to love my head !
I think they look lovely and worth the "attention"
Agree? Disagree?

Before anyone gives out violent reactions,
I just wanted to share that these 2 aren't much!
But I don't mind, a simple buy like these makes me happy :)
It is a reward for myself on a hardworking day!
Go ahead, reward yourself! You deserve it!

Tip of the day: *Blushed*

There will always be times where you'll be in a hurry to do your eye make-up.
But you still wanted to look fresh and ready to face the world.
One secret for me? Is to put on blushes!
Different blush placements will have different effects.
Here's the best way I've done to illustrate some ways to apply your blush!

For Softening Effect
(for oval face, young individuals who doesn't need much make-up)

How: Place blush on the apples of the cheeks.
Effect: To accentuate a fresh looking face

For Slimming Effect
(for round faces)

How: Placing the blush vertically in a narrow line down the center of each cheek
Effect: Will make your face looks slimmer

For Lifting Effect
(anyone who wants to accentuate good cheekbones, give the impression of having them, or to just give the face a lift!)

How: Apply blush high on the cheekbone near the eyes.
Effect: *whistles* Sexy cheekbones baby!

For Widening Effect
(for long narrow face)

How: do all the blush placements more horizontally
Effect: Reduced face length

For Sharpening Effect
(for round faces, or anyone who wants a sharp appearance)

How: Do not apply too low. Apply just on the underside of the bone.
Effect: When blended, this blush placement create a very sharp sophisticated look

Are you a blush addict?
I am starting to be...
Are you into pinks? peaches? browns? or bronzed look?
Share your thoughts!

Reader's Corner: How to Iron Your Own Hair

When I did a review on my newly purchased flat iron
Prettybeautiful commented and wondered how to get around using this on your own as she seems to miss the back part.
Again, I am no expert on this but I am sharing "my way" on ironing my own hair.
Feel free to share yours!

Step 1: I create a "half" ponytail

Step 2: Clip it using any clip you're comfortable with

Step 3: Section your hair into 3 parts (Left, Middle, Right)

Step 4: Start with the middle section, start ironing your hair starting near the roots downwards

Step 5: You can go back from the top again, this time with a comb, so you won't burn your fingers

Step 6: Move to the left section of your hair, then right section (not shown on pix), repeat steps 4-5.

Steps 7-8: Let loose the clip, let loose some hair (not too thick) and repeat Steps 3-6 until your reach the top

Hope this is helpful!
That's all I can share for now.
Stay tune for more helpful tips from your smiley Askmewhats!
Ciao!
